Windmill 12000 BTU Inverter Window Air Conditioner with WhisperTech

We got this for our primary bedroom since it is so expensive to cool our entire home through central air for one room. We love the look of Windmill units compared to other window based options. It’s super effective, and cools the room really quickly while also being quiet. Installation was also very easy! Would absolutely recommend!

Quick delivery. Heavy, needs two people to carry up stairs and to install BUT instructions were so clear and easy to follow. Looks great in the room. Most importantly, it cools!!Definitely recommend and would buy again.

Needless to say this device didn’t live up to my expectations. They offer options with or without whisper tech, which is basically a fancy way you’re saying it’s much quieter. They say that all their air conditioners are quiet, but that’s not the case if you get it without whisper tech more than likely, you’re gonna get 747 jet airplane. Also, it’s not that very energy efficient . With one week of use my bill skyrocketed an additional 47% than normal . The app is mediocre at best and when you put in the automations, they hardly ever work.Before I wanted to make the purchase, I asked them what were the main difference between the two options of their units . They tout on their website they have a response time within minutes compared to the “other guy”this isn’t true. They offered me a 10% off coupon, but when it was about to expire, I wanted to have as many questions answered as possible and unfortunately, they let me down in that department as well. I understand that they’re a small business and maybe they don’t have 24 hour business hours, but don’t parade around as if you are a huge company and touting that you are better than the competition by having a quicker response when you don’t. Customers are honest and they’ll let you know when you’re not being honest or fair with them.

It’s magical. It’s quiet it looks nice and there’s an app so we can turn it on before we go to bed to start cooling the room down!

This is hands down the best window air conditioning unit I’ve ever purchased! Cool air fills a room evenly and quietly. And so pretty too.

After thoroughly researching AC units I decided to purchase a Windmill 10,000 BTU whisper tech. I am more than satisfied with the unit. Not only is it quiet, powerful and quickly cools my large home, it is aesthetically pleasing and easy to install and navigate. While 1 unit was enough, I ended up buying a second unit. Had to contact customer service for minor issues and they were quick, understanding, responsive and quickly and surprisingly corrected my issue above what my expectations were. Highly recommended this AC!

The A/C is quiet and looks great but, it doesnt really get the room cold very well. Not a huge fan of the air up design but its not horrible its just I can turn it on and set it to high at the lowest setting and wont even feel much temperature difference for a few hours even though its the right size btu for my room. I wanted to love it, it was easy to install and to connect to on the app but it just doesn't do the one thing i needed, cool the room at a reasonable speed. I also was pretty disappointed by the filter, its only a few inches big in the center of the intake where as for the price and advertising of it i expected it to cover the entire area and not just a small portion in middle so it doesn't seem like itll do too much.

I’m not even being dramatic. I love this ac. It makes your cool so quick, and you can control it from your phone. 100/10.

This AC is such a huge upgrade from our regular window units. Not only does it look so much more appealing from both the outside and inside, it's way less noisy and the app is so helpful. We love it because when we are away we can control the air in our home to make sure our pets aren't TOO cold or TOO hot. Couldn't help but get one for each floor!

The customer service department are great and we’re very helpful to my needs and response was excellent.

This is by far the easiest window AC to install! It cools nicely and is very quiet compared to others I've had. It is a nice white noise, its there but you don't notice it. It is not obnoxious when its turns on/off. I will say it reads the temperature in the room a little off. I have it set to 66 and the room is more like 70, but works great!

This AC is really amazing. It was easy to install, we love that it has a remote remote and we can also turn it on from our phones. It looks so good in our window and really cools the room down. Just awesome.

My AC started making loud sounds.... I called customer service, and within a couple hours of receiving my video they had a new one winging my way. It's arrived just in time for the heat wave.

I am a fan! This is the third windmill unit I purchased for different rooms in different bldgs! I absolutely love the efficiency and how quiet they are.I purchased my first unit almost 5 years ago and it still works great!

Like the appearance, looks real good in living room. Temps here in mid 50’s, so haven’t had chance to use it.

This air conditioner is just as they say, quiet! The unique front of the unit is much more attractive and the way the air flow is directed encourages airflow. This is my 2nd purchase.

The 10k BTU air conditioner that I ordered was damaged in shipment. I got in touch with Windmill's customer support, and they were in real-time conversation with me via e-mail to troubleshoot the problem and then determined that the unit needed to be replaced. They worked with me to schedule shipment so it would fit my availability, and followed up to make sure all was well. Thank you Eddy and the rest of the Windmill support team!

My brother and I were ready to install it and had all these extra tools and stuff prepared and couldn’t believe how quickly it went, and also that we didn’t need any extra tools! Pre-assembled accordion sides is a time saver and game changer. Taking off one star bc despite being WhisperTech, it’s really quite noisy during the cooldown phase after the desired temp is reached and the compressor turns off.
