Q: Hello, does this rust?

  • A: The chairs and bench collect rainwater and spill rusty water when moved. I love the look so much, though, that I have kept them but make sure to have the hose handy when I move the chairs on our dark-colored deck after rainy weather. If you have the chairs on light-colored concrete or decking, you'll probably have an issue.

  • A: You CANNOT get this bench wet!! It is not weather proof! If you want it to look like when you buy it keep it inside. It collects rusty water like crazy..

  • A: I purchased this item and sadly I had horrible issues with rust. It cannot be exposed to rain at all. Unfortunately, water collects and sits inside the metal tubing. Then when you later move the bench it leaks rusty water. This was so bad that it stained my deck. Although the bench is otherwise attractive, it should not be used outdoors unless on a covered porch where it will NOT be exposed to any rain.
