A: The chairs and bench collect rainwater and spill rusty water when moved. I love the look so much, though, that I have kept them but make sure to have the hose handy when I move the chairs on our dark-colored deck after rainy weather. If you have the chairs on light-colored concrete or decking, you'll probably have an issue.

A: I purchased this item and sadly I had horrible issues with rust. It cannot be exposed to rain at all. Unfortunately, water collects and sits inside the metal tubing. Then when you later move the bench it leaks rusty water. This was so bad that it stained my deck. Although the bench is otherwise attractive, it should not be used outdoors unless on a covered porch where it will NOT be exposed to any rain.

A: You CANNOT get this bench wet!! It is not weather proof! If you want it to look like when you buy it keep it inside. It collects rusty water like crazy..

Q: Does it have gaps on the back side of the seat? it shows the project 62 bench, this new one is threshold and is much longer and has the gaps which I am not a fan of. The pictures are deceiving

Love the style, hate quality. It collects water and rusts ..once water hits porch ...its stained orange for good. They had these quite some time and surprised its still being sold and probably not updated. It was a hassle to bring back and returned it.

stumbled on this bench on-line and am glad i did! i wanted it for indoor use, so i wasn't worried about the reviews stating that it will rust. the style is timeless and it's the perfect size. i was a bit worried about reviewers commenting on a "popping" when the bench was sat on, so when i went to the store to pick it up, i checked it before leaving. not a sound and no movement in the seat. for reference, i weigh just a bit over 100 lbs. the fact that it was on sale made my decision to purchase it a no brainer.
