About the Author
Deborah Kerbel is the author of several picture books,including Sunny Days, Rainy Days, Before You Were Born, and award-winners
Windy Days, Snow Days and Sun Dog. Deborah also writes novels for
middle grade and young adult readers. Born in London, England, she moved to
Canada at the age of two and went on to attend the University of Western
Ontario. Her novels have been shortlisted for the Governor General's Literary
Award, the Canadian Library Association YA Book of the Year, and the Manitoba
Young Reader's Choice Award. Deborah lives in Thornhill, Ontario, with her
husband, two book-loving children, and a schnoodle named Alfredo.
Miki
Sato is a Japanese-Canadian illustrator who uses a variety
of different textures and materials to create three-dimensional images.
Originally from Ottawa, she moved to Toronto to complete her degree in
illustration from the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her picture books
include Golden Threads written by Suzanne Del Rizzo and the
award-winning Weather Days collection written by Deborah Kerbel: Snow
Days, Sunny Days, Windy Days, and Rainy Days.
