Book Synopsis
Wolverine and Sabretooth have one of the most intense rivalries in comics, and acclaimed creators Jeph Loeb and Simone Bianchi bring them together for their bloodiest, most brutal battle ever! They are two sworn foes who have been locked in an endless grudge match that goes back longer than either can remember -- or even imagine. The key to victory is eons old, and it's certain to rock their world. Think you've seen Marvel's fiercest go toe-to-toe before? Those were just warmups. And this time, Wolverine is going to put Sabretooth down for good. Or is he? Years later, Victor Creed is somehow back. But how? And what does it have to do with the immortal manipulator Romulus? As he returns from the ebon folds of the Darkforce Dimension, a mysterious red-headed woman comes to Wolverine's rescue -- and when her identity and connection to Romulus are revealed, Wolverine's history will be rewritten once again! Jeph Loeb is an Emmy Award-nominated and Eisner Award-winning writer/producer. In television, his many credits include Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Heroes, Lost and Smallville; and in film, Teen Wolf and Commando. He has written nearly every major comics icon, including the Avengers, Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Batman and Superman. From 2010 to 2019, he was Marvel's executive vice president, head of television, in which role he executive produced multiple series for Netflix, beginning with Daredevil in 2015. Italian artist Simone Bianchi spent eleven years making a name for himself in Europe, including writing and drawing his own science-fiction epic Ego Sum. He won Europe's prestigious Yellow Kid Award as the year's best Italian artist and writer. America first got a taste of his work in DC Comics' Seven Soldiers: Shining Knight. Bianchi has brought his ferocious talent to blockbuster runs on Wolverine with writer Jeph Loeb and Astonishing X-Men with Warren Ellis, as well as the epic limited series Thor: For Asgard. His trademark ink-wash artwork is a familiar sight to Marvel readers across a gallery of eye-catching covers, while he joined Jason Aaron to delve into the past of one of comics' greatest villains in Thanos Rising.Dimensions (Overall): 10.19 Inches (H) x 6.63 Inches (W)
