Women's Balloon 3/4 Sleeve Tie-Front Blouse - A New Day™

Cute, quality for price, but narrow. I ordered an XXL as that is my top size in most brands. It is narrow! I am broad shouldered. But it is very narrow. I cannot even get it on. Not a baggy fit as advertised. If you are narrow shouldered this is a good blouse for you. I will be returning mine. If they offered an XXXL not even sure it would fit. It’s just the way it’s cut. Sad, because it’s cute! Three ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of cut.

This shirt is adorable. I do not understand the negative comments in the reviews at all. The material is rayon, if you use a hot iron it will melt the material. Mine was very wrinkled, I used my steamer and it was perfect! I’m 52yo and did not see the need to wear something under it. No exposure when you tie the bows tighter. Yes, the bows do need to be tied tighter but my mom taught me how to tie a bow before I went off to kindergarten so no issue there. The shipping was bizarre. It took forever to arrive, it came in a package clearly from a China warehouse and not Target but the brand is A New Day. Very odd!!! The return address on the package was in Chinese not English.

I really like the style, it helps to hid my tummy and makes a pair of jeans feel dressed up. The fabric is very thin and if you look too closely at the stripes they get blurry, but the style is super cute. The only thing that caught me by surprise is to gap in the front created by the ties. I will need to wear a shirt under it because the ties don’t bring the two sides completely together. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a size medium and it fit me small, so I would size up. The ties in the middle of the shirt do not fully close, and I was not a fan of that. I wore a tank underneath and it worked just fine! The sleeves went to my elbows and had elastic to keep them in place. The material of the shirt was super soft and this would be good for a hot summer day! I do not recommend this for the office. I received an incentive to write this review.

Maybe it’s just my body type or size but I did not feel this top was flattering at all. It has balloon sleeves that are three fourth length. It has a tie front which is a cute added touch. I am typically a size fourteen or sixteen and ordered this item in a size extra extra large and I feel I could have sized down for sure I received an incentive to write this review.

My only complaint is that the bows do come untied and I know I won’t ever make them as cute as they were when I first opened it. The fabric is on the thinner side and wrinkles pretty easily. Also the gaps between the bows are a tiny bit exposing if that’s something your worried about. You could easily layer a tank underneath. I’m wearing a size large and it fits great. The material is a standard cotton and definitely needs a good pressing right out of the package. The sleeves are billowy and fit the “balloon” definition. But the front is held together by three true tie closures. Mine had a decent size gap that surprised me. I suppose I could tie them tighter. But be warned that you will need something underneath. I am wearing a size small. I received an incentive to write this review.

The design is cute but it’s just not a good shirt. Proportions are way off. It’s super short, above my hip. I’m plus sized and the XXL fit well just in the arms and arms but the lower half was too short and the last two ties were several inches apart when I put the shirt on. So I ordered a 1X and waited for it to ship for over 1 week. When it finally arrived it looks like just the sleeves were bigger which made it look like a costume and the shirt was still short but the peplum was also cartoonish. It closed better than the XXL but I would still have to buy an undershirt and for $40 it should just come well made. The fabric looks and feels sooooo cheap as others have mentioned. It’s just bad. Again, it looks so cute on the very thin model but it was a no for me as a plus sized person. Returned it. I would not recommend this to plus sized women.

The top was very cute but came very wrinkled. The fabric literally fell apart when slight heat was applied.

Way too expensive for what it is… package didn’t even come from target but from an overseas company probably like the ones coming from Amazon that are 1/4 the price. See through and cheap quality. I like the style of tops like this but this one was very disappointing. Had to return!

The fabric feels cheap for a $38 top. I also think the sizing is a bit off. I’m normally a medium or small in tops but this one, even though adjustable with the ties, felt weirdly tight in the chest and loose everywhere else. I think it’s cute and has potential but it is not worth the price for how thin the fabric is.

I am tall and I have never liked cropped shirts. Unfortunately, this isn't a very good combination, especially since it seems like Target (and every other store out there) is literally making *everything* cropped. There are tall options in clothing for men at Target. There are even unisex options in clothing, as well as options in plus-size for both genders at Target. Why are there still no tall options for women here? I really like the style of this shirt, and I bought an XL, even though my size is roughly a L. The quality is definitely not 38 dollars worth. Maybe, *maybe* $28 would have been a fair price, but honestly, it should be $20 or less. It is severely cropped on my tall frame (even though I sized up). I'm still keeping the shirt, because what I do when this happens is just wear it over a tall-size tank top from Old Navy, so the entire bottom portion (about 3 - 4 inches) of the tank top is exposed. Definitely a fashion statement (although it still looks nice), but what can I do when I'm tall and virtually every store is making all of the stylish shirts cropped? I know I cannot be the only tall woman in the world who doesn't like cropped shirts. Aside from all of that, the sleeves are decently "puffy" and the bow ties seem sturdy enough. You can undo them and tie them to your liking. It washed well in a gentle cold-water only cycle. I suggest only air-drying because it is relatively delicate. It's a nice style. It just would have been better if the length was longer.

I bought the black and white stripe and white color way in my regular size small. Very cute with just the right amount of a peplum feel and balloon sleeves. The ties are so cute, but you definitely would have to wear something under it. I can’t wait to wear this with skinny ankle pants for work or wide leg jeans!

I really wanted to like this, but not very flattering due to the larger oversized arms. Definitely would recommend sizing down.
