Women’s Austin Fringe Western Ankle Boots with Memory Foam Insole – Universal Thread™ Tan

I tried these on in store, they aren't that loud. Maybe if you were in a quiet doctor's office or library it would be awkward, but even just walking around target it wasn't any different than wearing heels. I also didn't have a problem with the tassels flopping around so much that they got caught inside the shoe. Idk what y'all are doing with your feet, but maybe slow down? True to color, true to size, fun and definitely demand confidence to pull them off.

I'm 5'4" and i love that these only hit me mid shin. Some of the cowboy boots are too high and they are uncomfortable to walk in or make me look shorter than I am. I love the fringe on these. These will be so cute to wear to a country concert. The faux leather feels soft and is a good quality. I'm wearing a 9.5 and they feel true to size. It's my normal size and they fit great in the length and width. For the price, I am happy with these boots. They are a good buy and value. However, I will know if you are in a quiet area when you were walking you can definitely hear the French. These are a size 10 and I typically wear a size 10 and they fit great. They do have a very pointed toe however they do not feel too narrow. They also have a nice cushion bottom to make them more comfortable than a traditional western boot. The fringes are pretty annoying when walking though, they swish around a lot and make a pretty loud sound. I ordered my usual size 8 and they fit true to size. When wearing them I did feel like the tassels were loud swinging back & forth but that’s to be expected with this style of boot. I am wearing a size 7.5 in these pics & wear a 7.5 usually. Bought these for Nashville and they are super comfortable. My only complaint is that the tassels (yes they are loud but that didn’t matter in the setting I wore them in), and that they swing up into the top of the boot. A little annoying but they’re so fun and cute it’s still worth it! Going to try double sided tape to better control the tassels

Cute boots, however, I was concerned the fringe would curl, so I returned them.

I bought a pair of Universal Thread boots last year for $39.99 and loved them. I was excited to get another pair this year but the price has jumped to $58. Cute style but disappointing price increase…I’ll pass

I wanted so badly to love these, and I do, but I can’t overlook the flaws. The swinging of the tassels is soooooo loud. If you’re not wearing these in a noisy environment, it would be super awkward. The tassels are so long that they flap into the top boot opening while you walk, and they are also dangerously close to dragging on the ground at the same time. The overall construction just doesn’t seem well thought out. They do seem pretty comfortable and run tts, and they are gorgeous, but I can’t justify the cost given all the annoyances. If none of these things bother you, they are a 5 star. For me, they need to go back.

So cute! Look exactly as pictured. I’m not a heels wearer and found these to be quite comfortable due to the low heel. It has decent cushion on the inside. I don’t feel I can wear these on a super hot day though because they are lined with a thick fabric on the inside that seems it would make my legs/feet feel hot. I also notice that the fringe makes a noise when it hits the boots while I’m walking. It’s not loud but may annoy some people especially if worn in a quiet setting. Also! I have wide feet and normally need to purchase a wide for most shoes and these fit me fine. I am normally a 10 in pointy toe boots but the 9.5 fit me well.
