I have the longer boots and they have held up for a few years so far. Got these shorter ones for walking through wet areas Both have soles that are great for gripping

Yellow Salmon Sister boots in 7.5

I love these boots. I have 3 pairs. BUT every single pair has cracked right at the base of the big toe in the first year. I love them so much I put a piece of yellow duct tape over the crack to keep water out. These use to come in half sizes which I need. If I go one size bigger there a little too big and my foot slips inside.

Be careful as to the model of extra tough boots th

I had a pair of extra tough shoes last summer and the soles fell off, so I replaced them with another model. Unfortunately, they were extremely heavy, and when I gardened in them, they were not comfortable when I bent over and my toes were bent in them.

These shoes rock

Style and Performance

This is my second pair of the ankle boots. I live aboard a boat and slip on my white ones everytime I need to go on deck to set the anchor, throw lines, etc. They are non-slip, waterproof and durable. They quickly became my default choice for shoes, even when going into town to provision, explore, walk the dog, etc. So, about a month ago I treated myself to a darker colored pair...they feel a little more "dressy" for running errands. A perfect choice for comfort and keeping my feet dry in the rainy Pacific Northwest and beach landings of the dinghy in Mexico.

Best all around boot

Best boot for all around to keep my feet dry. I wear these boots for so many different uses, working in the garden/yard, fishing on the boat (way better traction than my flip flops) and out to check on the horses. I have multiple pairs to enjoy the fun colors. This pair is the color of the Bahamas 🇧🇸 flag so they match perfectly when I’m there!!

Unwelcome design change

Everyone in my household has loved these boots for years and I was super excited to get this design for Christmas BUT —- surprise!!! No reflective tabs! Every other style has them and that’s such a signature part of the design and one of the things that makes them the go-to dog walking shoe. Why mess with such a popular design?? Arrrrrrrrr
