I am a 29" waist and 38" hip. This is a size 6 per the size chart. This did fit me, so I would say it is true to size. With that being said, I like the way the size 8 fit better than the size 6, so I did size up. Just be sure to measure yourself + if you want snug on waist, go true to size. If you want a bit of comfort, go up one size.

These are a nice thick fabric & I like the flare and the color. They are very long (5’3”) and run VERY small. I am normally between a 4-6 (athletic build with a small waist & thick thighs) and I got a 6. They TECHNICALLY fit but if I wanted to sit, my insides would have been very unhappy. Ordering a size up and will report back if they fit better.

I ordered a size up after reading the reviews and they were too big, at least in the vintage wash. I should have ordered my regular size. The regular length is really long. I’m reordering in Short and I feel even that length may be too long. Hopefully, the smaller size at a shorter length will fit better. Lots of stretch. Let’s see.

I'm not sure what's going on with Target sizing, but man is it off! I really wanted to like these jeans. I sized up per reviews (2 sizes) and they still didn't fit around the waist. Super super small waist. At least three sizes off. I'm normally a 0 in Universal Thread jeans and ordered a 4.
