Cherie Code/Target dress SCAM ALERT! I wrote an enormous review yesterday somehow it got deleted. Shame on you, Target & Cherie Code, for everything. See attached photos for proof & explanation. I ordered this dress Aug. 30, & it was set to arrive at my Vegas hotel on Thursday, Sept. 4. I get email & text notifications of delay AND that the original order cannot be filled - I reply that I don’t mind a belt change, AS LONG AS IT ARRIVES BY SATURDAY. No response from them. 4 “delayed” emails later, I get that it’s arriving TUESDAY - when I’m already gone & thousands of miles away! I text, email, call - nothing. Despite getting this final email at 1am, I’m not allowed to cancel 7 hours later (when I wake) because it’s “processing.” This dress was for a themed gala. I’ve been sick & body-dysmorphic (because of illness) for a year… this dress was finally something I thought I’d look good in. I skipped the gala because I had nothing to wear that was on-theme & flattering. It ruined my Saturday plans because I spent the day shopping for a new dress. This was supposed to be the highlight of my trip, & you ruined it because I foolishly trusted a company Target (foolishly) trusted. I will never do this again. I got the credit card confirmation bill today, so clearly someone at Cherie Code is working, but not working hard enough to address the fact that they’re shipping the inaccurate dress to the (now wrong) location FIVE DAYS LATE. It’s one thing to be late - it’s another to be *so* money-greedy that you have no communication options for me to cancel or even reroute. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!! They are tantamount to SCAMMERS! My other review was better, but I guess Cherie had their buddies at Target delete it. Don’t worry, I’ve saved this one & will repost it as often as necessary, so that no one else is ever scammed again.
