Women's High-Rise Midi Cuffed Jean Shorts - Ava & Viv™

I bought this brand a few years ago and these were not the same.. they were a thinner material and the fit was not the same. I had to return them. Was very disappointed

I purchased these shorts last year, loved them and just purchased 2 more pairs. They are definitely not the same as before despite the fact that they're labeled online as the same" high rise midi shorts". They don't stretch, are cut smaller than before, and are shorter. I had to go up 2 sizes but they're baggy in the legs. Probably will return due to the poor fit.

I picked these out because the brand is relatively comfortable fitting for plus sized people. I have some of there other pants so i figured there shorts would be just a cute. Welp. They don't look a thing like the pictures. Im honestly confused on why the bottoms are cuffed and how that could get messed up. And they came like this, there brand new

These are nothing like the shorts from last year. They run at least two sizes too small and there is zero stretch. Seriously size 22 is smaller than the size 18 midi shorts from last year.

I wear a 16 in Ava & Viv jeans so I bought these shorts in a 16 and they run really small. I would prob have to size up 2 sizes. They have no stretch at all, will be returning it.

Really sad they changed their shorts this year. You’ll need to go up a size maybe 2 to get them around your waist. At that point they will probably be too big everywhere else

Terribly fit, definitely not chunky girl friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’4 and 215lbs. I typically wear 14-16 in both shorts and jeans. I ordered a size 16 in these and they fit but they were a little tight in the belly area. If I was to sit down, I’d probably break the zipper. I actually really liked these and feel like they are really flattering. The rise on these hid my fupa which is one thing I am self conscious about. I am definitely going to go get a sizer bigger to see what I think! I received an incentive to write this review.

The shorts run small, and they're more of an acid wash. It's not the same as pictured. They don't have a stretch to them.

I'm a plus size, 18, curvy girl asks was looking for shorts that form to my leg. They are even baggy in my rear end. The photos do not match what I thought I was buying. The waist does fit true to size and the material would be comfortable. They are just too baggy for me.

I ordered a size up because I wasn't sure how they would fit...they wouldn't even fit over my hips!! The waist is WAY too tight.

Great fit, true to size. Planning on get another pair to get ready for summer.

The wash is really cute but these don’t have the stretch of a typical Ava & Viv jean short. I sized up and they were hard to pull on, but my smaller size from last year still fits due to the stretch.

The high rise helps with that mom pouch and I really liked the cuff at the bottom of the shorts. Perfect length to keep from bunching up when walking. I can't wait for it to get warm and I can start wearing these. Great pair of shorts. I received an incentive to write this review.

runs super small, couldn’t even get it up my thighs… so definitely size up.

These fit very strangely. There's a lot of fabric going on here! The rolled cuffs aren't tacked, so once washed, they wouldn't stay rolled. The fabric was far too thin to be called denim and it stretched out madly in an hour or two of wear. The leg openings were huge and floppy and came to my knees. The waist came up to my ribcage. These looked so normal in the photos but were massive and flappy in person. Returned.

Since I did that it made them more comfortable on the waist, however the legs of the shorts are way too big for me. The rolled cuffs is nice though. I do like the color as well. The material is a stretchy jeans material and feels pretty soft on me as well. I just wish the fit was a little better. I received an incentive to write this review.

The waist fit better than I thought they were going to, which was a pleasant surprise. The length of the short legs was nice, right around where I like them. I really like the cuffs at the bottom of the legs. The material is jean but very soft. Only thing I didn't like was low shape. I received an incentive to write this review.

I think the quality is also great for the price. I am wearing a size 16 which I did size up but I did not have to. These are stretchy and very comfortable. I really like how they are higher wasted.
