Women's High-Rise Sweater Wrap Mini Skirt - Future Collective

I wanted to love this skirt! I got the matching sweater vest and it’s such a cute set. However, the skirt is an odd fit. I’m 5’6”, 130 lbs and I ordered a small. It fit everywhere except the waist - it was too large. It’s like the fabric needs to be tapered towards the top. The buttons on the inside are poorly sewn and one popped off just from trying to adjust it. I’ll most likely be returning it if I can’t sew the buttons to where the fit is better.

I typically wear a size large in a skirt, unless it seems to be form fitting. This ran large! I should have sized down. I do not like what it looks like because it is too large. It kind of hangs there and does not provide a shape. The material is very soft. The color is very pretty! It would be pretty with a tucked in tank top. I will not be keeping in mind. This is just ok. It feels cheap because it’s unlined and up close it is see through. I wanted to like but not for the price. There are two small buttons on the first layer of the skirt that secure it closed. The side tie sits lower than top of skirt.

I loved the color, the length and it was very soft. The cute design at the top was a nice added touch. I feel like it was different than any skirt I have ever had, I had ordered the medium, but would definitely size down. The tie on the side was super cute and this skirt was extremely comfortable. The photos online made this skirt a lot more flattering than in real life. I would recommend size down one size, as there was gapping in the front because it couldn’t tie tight enough. The length was perfect, and it was a really comfortable skirt. I would love this to be part of my summer wardrobe, in the next size smaller. I received an incentive to write this review.
