Women's Knit Midi Shift Dress - A New Day™

I loved the pics of this dress, then I read the glowing reviews. Bought it in the burgundy color and could not BELIEVE how beautiful it was on! Looks so expensive, but it's not! Drapes BEAUTIFULLY and looks so elegant! So I bought it again in black. This is THE dress you need! I am 5'6" and 126 lbs - bought it in the small size and it's PERFECTION! Really wish it came in more colors.

I hesitated to buy this dress because I thought it would show all my lumps and bumps. But it was so versitile I thought it was worth the try. Was I ever very pleasantly surprised! It is so slimming and exactly what I had hoped for. My husband even said "Wow!" when I showed him it on me. This dress can be worn casually or dressed up. It's all about accesorizing. I almost feel like buying a second one to have just in case it wears out. I like it that much! Don't hesitate to buy!

I will preface to say I never tried it on. It arrived rolled up in a ball shoved in one of those target delivery bags. I took it out , shook it out and gave it a good look. It is very heavy. And I didn't think it would hold its shape once washed. There is no way you could dry this without it losing its shape. And I think you need to be taller to carry it off to look good I got the black and blue one. The blue is a pretty color.

Modal breathes like cotton & used by most $$ nightgown mfgs. This is soooo comfortable , cool feeling, simple elegant. I am 5’7” 165 pounds size 12-14 wear an XL in this dress which is slimming but not too body hugging. Will wear w “ A New Day” sandwashed hoody’s in same colors. Bought 2 black 1 blue 1 burgundy dresses. Neck is slightly loose = great for warm Florida. Very very attractive dress. Buyers please bring this back next season in more colors same textile!

I returned this dress, the fabric was too heavy for the summer. Might be good for another time of year. Just not right for me and it was too big.

Nice quality of the fabric.

This dress far exceeded my expectations. It is made of a thick, ribbed fabric. The fabric is soft, slinky, and clings to my body, but at the same time, it is not too tight. It looks very high end. I can wear it to work, church, date nights, weddings, etc. It has become a staple in my closet. I bought all three colors.

This dress is very comfy and looks great with my cropped red lace moto jacket. I also like how it can be worn with a variety of shoes. It can easily be dressed up or down. The fabric is lightly ribbed and has a high-end feel. It also washes very well and can be dried on the low setting without any issues.

Loved the fabric - it was a nice weight and can be worn year round. In fact, I loved this dress so much (bought the blue originally) that I went back to Target and bought it in both the black and the red. Very nice quality for the price especially after I compared it to the other dress I bought from Target. Just a $7 price difference but a world apart in terms of value/quality.

Really simple & comfortable dress but very flattering. Easy to dress up or down. The fabric is stretchy but also slinky and fitted.
