Women's Midi Halter Dress - A New Day™

This is an adorable dress. Has a retro style with the halter straps, fitted bodice and wider skirt. Figure flattering, but had to return it for a smaller size. I gave it four stars because the straps had to be shortened. Makes it a little off center with the button moved, but I have long hair, so the alteration can't be seen.

The Women’s Midi Halter Dress from A New Day™ is a total win. The fabric feels soft, the cut flatters the waist, and the halter neckline adds just the right amount of elegance without being over the top. I’ve worn it to brunch, date nights, and even dressed it down with sneakers. I'm 5'8" 155 pounds and a medium fit perfect :)

You would think if you’re going to sell a dress at Target for $45 (how is this affordable for anyone?) you would at least make a functional zipper. Snags halfway through the dress, and is extremely poorly sewn. Exchanged the first dress for a new one after the zipper broke three days into owning it only for me to find out the replacement dress already had a broken zipper before I put even put it on…. Sizing is also off for whatever reason. Save your money, as cute as it is. It’s trash.

This is a new staple in my closet! So easy to dress up with heels and accessories, or dress down with ballet flats. The cinched waistline is very flattering for my short torso, however, bust area is tight. Overall it’s a beautiful dress.

The dress is really pretty and fit me well, agree with other reviews that the zipper is weak. First time trying to wear it the zipper got stuck halfway up and ended up breaking. Like I said really pretty dress which is why I purchased but it’s unfortunate I never got to actually wear it

beautiful dress. I wish it was floor length. But its still beautiful. fits my in between sized 14/16 body perfectly. even with a full chest and no hips I could wear it without a bra and it still fell at the waist beautifully.

Beautiful dress but the zipper is SO weak guys and not durable.

I got this dress in black and olive, and I’m already planning to grab the cream on payday! I’m 5'1, 130 lbs, 34B, and the XS fits me perfectly—flattering without being too tight. The cotton-blend fabric feels soft and breathable, and the halter neckline with the smocked back makes it so comfortable. The side zipper is convenient, and the pocket is a great bonus. Super versatile—I can dress it up or down easily.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I’m 5’9”, 185 lbs, and the size large fits perfectly. It’s honestly my favorite dress—I loved it so much I just ordered it in black too. Living in a hot climate, I know I’ll get plenty of use out of it. It’s so versatile—you can dress it up for a night out or keep it casual with cute sneakers. Highly recommend!

size up if you are curvy figure! Just based on the picture, i knew that the top bust area was going to be very tight. So i size up than my normal size ( usually L/XL) and glad got in in XXL. it is very beautiful in real life ( I got olive green). Comfortable material because it thick cotton, not see through. The top halter has two button to adjust on neck and a little bit of Scrunch in back to make room. Bonus, it has pockets!

I am a confessed Halter Dress or Top lover and this is currently my favorite Halter dress! I immediately ordered it when I found it during my daily "new arrivals" search. I love this type of halter set up with the wide strap that wraps down to the under arm area. I find it very flattering. Love the box pleats and hidden pockets. The material has a nice feel to it, just stiff enough to keep the pleats looking good. I purchased it in the Olive color, my favorite fall color and it is stunning in person. I purchased my usual A New Day dress size and the Fit is perfect for me. The only downside to it is price. I expect A New Day dresses to be $40 or under and only decided to get it since it combined my favorite style and color. At $45 I had to give it a 4 star for value. Definitely recomend and if it goes on sale I'll almost certainly pick one up in the cream color too if they are still in stock.

Super bummed b/c I love the style & color, but the waist is dropped about an inch & a half more than it should be! It would be perfect if it wasn’t a dropped waist & I’m long waisted…weird proportions. ☹️

The zippers on these dresses don’t even last a day, I tried mine on in the fitting room and the zipper broke, I went to go go find a different dress and every single on hanging up either had a busted zipper or it completely fell off the tracks

This dress complements my body so well! I don’t have much shape and this dress gives me just that! I would size down I usually wear a large but the medium hugged a little better. My only complaint is the zipper. I struggled so bad with getting it on by myself because it kept catching. It also feels like it could break easily so be careful with that!

When I first laid eyes on this dress I know I wanted it. I got the green dress and I love it. It’s a little tight around the stomach area but other than that I have no complaints. It’s so pretty!

Seriously loved the dress, but the zipper broke as soon as I was about to walk out of the door. Idk why but for some reason this is the second time this happened. The dress is my size, but the zipper just opens on it’s own. I’m so sad. I have to go get it altered and change the zipper.

So I went off the chart and reviews, as a 36C 5’1” a little on the curvier side. Jeans size 8 for reference. The top was so tight. Not the best fit for me. Maybe a medium would have been better than a small. Will return.

10/10- ordered cream color online but ran into the green dress in store. The material, quality and the waist slimming illusion of the dress sold me. The color was top tier against my skin tone. You can dress up or transitionto a casual look. Purchased: Medium - Height: 5”6 - Bra size: 38C.. Should have purchased in black.

Buy this now !!! Omg ! This is a classic form fitting dress with stretch and you’ll look really good in it I’m usually a medium but I bought a small and it fits great
