Women's Sweater Mini Skirt - Ava & Viv™

So soft you wouldn’t believe it from the pictures or from seeing it. I so hope I can find the coordinating sleeveless sweater as the skirt was on a clearance rack all by its lonesome. The 1x is perfect for me right now as I am on average an 18 and shrinking and I love the extra width and length from that of misses sizes. I am swimming in 2x now so I am happy about that accomplishment! My weight is a hormone dysfunction brought on by having my first child. Obesity isn’t the disease it is a symptom of a disease. Thank goodness medicine finally figured it out and hopefully soon all that need these life changing medications will be able to access them affordable. Please never make fun of an overweight person even if they are eating junk food for it is often out of their control due to powerful hormones no amount of willpower can overcome. I am living proof! From model thin to borderline diabetic boom just from 1 pregnancy and never recovered. Anyway! Thank you Target for having Ava & Viv and plus sized fashion options as everyone deserves to look and feel the best hey can as they are at each moment. Get the skirt. It is one of the most comfortable and elegant skirts I have purchased from the Ava & Viv line. Just be sure to keep the kitties & dog claws away as this is delicate. Wash with care as well and should last you many years.

I absolutely love this sweater and skirt set. I got the orange color, and it reminds me of a 1970’s afghan in the best way. It fits true to size, and there is stretch in the fabric. The skirt has a smooth lining, so it doesn’t catch and can flow nicely. Although the top has buttons in the back, it can easily be pulled over your head with all the buttons closed. The open knit doesn’t show too much, but it does provide some cooling. I wore this to a concert on a hot day and received compliments. I wear size 17 Ava & Viv jeans, and I got both pieces in XXL.
