They don't last even a full season.

I work a lawncare job. I bought these and they worked great at first, but before the season was even over they were cracking and separating. I wouldn't waste my money again.

Comfortable for the most part. A little heavier than I prefer for a hiking boot. A little tight around the ankle with no padding there so I can’t lace them all the way up.
No good.

Bought these boots a year ago.was so excited. Have tried to wear them multiple times and just can’t. They rub on my ankles and I have to tie them tight so they don’t flop off my feet. So much toe space. Uncomfortable. 0/10, would not buy again.

Insoles lasted less than a month

I love Muck Boot Company and I have several pairs. I have the tall boots and they are going on 18 years now. I was excited to get the Apex style, but the insoles came apart in less than a month. For the price, they should at least last longer….. My other complaint is the laces. I guess it’s the material but they won’t stay tied at all. Even double knots slide out.
Good boots

Good pair of boots. I would have ranked them a five star rating but I did not because they are slightly too big. I should have either bought a half size or gone down a size. Otherwise, I liked them am find my feet not damp at the end of the work day like my other “waterproof” boots that I purchased (those boots are not muck boots).
Comfortable... unless I try walking

The fit of these boots was a dream when I first put them on, they're extremely comfy. But then I walked through my house and realized what all the negative reviews were talking about. The back of the boot is too high and too stiff, with each step it scrapes above my Achilles tendon, no matter the type of sock I threw on to cushion it. The only way I would be able to wear these is by taking very short steps so that there is almost no bend in my ankle when stepping forward. I've contacted Muck to start a return. What a bummer, these would've made amazing winter boots.

Boots are comfortable and I liked them until the zipper quit working after a month. Customer service response was oh well tough.

Uncomfortable around the ankle after wearing for any amount of time. They also make my feet sweat after having them on for a short time.
Probably my favorite winter boot ever!

Very comfy, warm and waterproof!. They run big! I normally wear between a 91/2-10 and I got these in a 9 and they're perfect even with heavy-ish socks.

I love this boot so I’ve tried everything to fix the unbearable pain on ankles where the rubber meets the fabric . Duct tape, moleskin, not lacing top, inserts, etc. so even though they are perfect for trail work I got them for I can’t wear them.
Hurts Ankle ; Not Good Grip

Ordered online, tried them on. The rubber is stiff like a plastic, and so it doesn't flex at all except where the plasiticed rubber meets the neoprene - right on your ankle bone - creating an awful rub spot. In addition, I need good traction on smooth wet limestone, and the tred is super hard. Treds need to have give/flex to be good on slick wet surfaces, so I know also that the tred will not work for what I need. Two stars because if it hits you right, and you need a hard tred, this would work for you because the build seems pretty good.

Some of the reviews mentioned ankle pain, which I experienced after my first hike, so I added inserts to elevate my heel above the pain point and placed heel pad on the back of the boot as my foot was sliding back and forth. Worked like a charm and wear these hiking and working daily and am sure it will keep my feet dry durning the Oregon coastal rainy season. Plan on purchasing a another pair.

I do a lot of caving and go thru a lot of pair of boots. I love how these are flexible and give in the underground environment. They are also much easier to clean the mud off than traditional boots. I just bought my second pair!
