Women's Women's Apex Mid Zip Ankle Boot

Roomy toe box, true to size, durable. Spent the afternoon splashing in puddles with my child. My feet stayed 100% dry!

I like the style of these boots but I don’t really like the way they fit.I’ve wore them 2 days and they’ve rubbed my ankle so bad they just feel bruised and tender. I’ve had to unzip them a little so they don’t rub as much but it’s not really helping much. I typically wear a 6 but I could probably get away with wearing a 5 as they are big around the toe. The zipper is also a little stiff and hard to zip so I don’t now how long that’ll last.

Great boot, easy on/off, very comfortable and stylish

I bought the Apex Lace up first... Those were awful..... Then tried these... Equally awful! Just as the reviews say, the boot fits super weird, they fit EXTREMELY large and even if you order an entire size down the area around the ankle will still be incredibly loose... So loose that if you aren't careful you could easily roll an ankle in these. Also they're ugly as hell, I figured if they protect my feet and are comfy then why not, (I'm a dog walker... Comfortable, waterproof boots are priceless...!!) but unfortunately they aren't comfy and therefore not worth putting up with the ugliness. They're also really heavy and 'clunky' if you know what I mean.

I bought these for work as I am a letter carrier. They are absolutely terrible! They will keep your feet dry but they will cut into your shin area so badly that you’d rather just have wet feet. I contacted customer care about the issue and they didn’t seem to care. Now I’m stuck with boots I never want to wear again! Would highly recommend against buying these. I even wore thick, long socks to ensure my ankle/shin area would be covered to make sure they wouldn’t rub and still a major issue.

Comfortable, good quality, stylish. Worth the price.

Unless you like blisters the whole way around your ankle front and back.. these boots are terrible I’ve had them for a few months now and they still give me blisters the only positive is my feet stay dry

Bought these for our daughter, she loves them. Lightweight but warm. Good fit. Little stuff to walk in at first, but easily broke in.

Boots are warm and water proof. I bought them for winter horse riding, they do the job but fit wide and flop around when walking. If you have wider feet they’d work great but not so great with my more narrow foot.

I am quite disappointed as the zippers are installed inside out which makes them very difficult to zip.

I bought this boot when I was looking for something a little taller than the other low height mucks, and wanted something easy to get on and off while I had a baby on the way. These were a great solution. I compared these with the lace Apex, and opted for these because the elastic area is over the ankle bones on these and makes them more comfortable for me. They are a little bulkier than I expected but not so much that I would down grade them. For the reviewers talking about the strap cutting into their leg, it can happen if you're trying to use these to go hiking in uphill all day, but once you break them in they are fairly flexible and comfortable. I prefer to wear them with tall socks, but I've been able to slip these on to go get the mail or take the dog outside with short socks on and not even noticed. Also, they have a nice tongue design - it is very flexible and relatively soft on the inside. If you take the time to line it up on your shin and make it nice and smooth, it essentially prevents the rubbing issues and is comfy. I've even worn the boots without zipping them and still had them able to stay on my feet. The zipper is pretty heavy duty and these boots are great for wearing to and from work in the winter, quick shoveling of snow (though I use my artic tall boots for the big storms or sub zero days), and also for the muddy spring showers. I wear them down to the pond and back on fairly warm days and am still comfortable. Overall I recommend these boots as a great all-around slip on boot. Great for multi-purpose use and were easy to get on. If you are looking for a specific purpose boot, I would suggest some other mucks simply because these are a better mid-range all around boot. If you're subzero temps, go with an arctic. If you're in hotter settings, go with the rain boot style. But if you want a good mild winter and early spring boot, this one is an excellent choice.

I first ordered these on November 26, 2021. Somehow the order got misplaced and they canceled my order and placed another one on December 30, 2021. I finally received the boots on January 21, 2022. I have the Arctic sport mid boot. They are the best boots, comfortable, Great support and traction. built for hiking, not just walking. In comparison, these boots are two stars. They are loose in the heel, no fit and not much arch support. I can’t say they run large, just loose. That being said, they get another star for being easy on and off and zipping up snuggly. And, another star because this type of boot is just plain hard to come by. I got them just to slip on in a hurry. How do I purchase the short arctic sport it probably would not have been easy on easy off. There was some lost in the fit, but still better than I could find anywhere else.
