Description
WONDERLAND were formed in the early 1968 in Germany. The five-piece consisted of former members of THE RATTLES and THE TONICS, both Hamburg-based, and THE SUMMER SET from England. Signed by Polydor, they released three singles produced by JAMES LAST, including the oustanding hit "Moscow". The band went on tour with The Bee GEES, THE NICE and DEEP PURPLE. Following a line-up change and internal frictions, the band finally folded in 1970, but the masterminds Achim Reichel and Frank Dostal tried to keep the flame burning as WONDERLAND BAND and a new album called "Wonderland Band No. 1". This album was recorded 1971 in Hamburg with a cast of 26 guest musicians, among them the complete James Last Orchestra. Now this masterpiece is back on 180 gram heavy vinyl, for your pleasure!
