Q: The brass version has terrible reviews because the notches aren't deep enough to hold cards. I wonder if the wooden version has the same issue. Can you please see if the notches aren't better on this?

A: The groove is way too shallow to hold cards upright. They lean and easily knock over. Terrible design. One minor tweak and these would be perfect!
