Q: Is the smaller size large enough to hold a regular size cake?

A: I recently purchased the smallest size one....I think the cake would have to be smaller then 7" and about 3-4" high at best. I bought this for cheese display.

This should not be called cake storage, unless some people only make mini cakes. this will not fit a normal cake, a Bundt style cake, or anything like that. maybe you could cluster 4 cupcakes on it. I was hoping for something of this style that I could use for my normal sized cakes. see the pict. with my hand? and I'm a small lady, only 5 foot tall and have small hands. Be warned if that's what you're looking for too. it should not be called a cake storage container. maybe "Mini" cake storage

Second time I’ve purchased a H&H cake-stand and have had the wood split open. They just glue and use tiny, exposed nails to make their Target pieces. I knew I shouldn’t have trusted the acacia wood a second time. Am going to return and save for the real thing, which isn’t that much more. Whoever is in charge of QC for the Target designer collabs should be ashamed. It’s cheaply made w/offensive prices, IMHO. Moreover, I’ve been to the Silos in Waco and the items sold there are of course more high-end and pricey, but you’d think you’d care more about how your own dupes are made.

I bought this cake dome to store baked goods — quite literally the primary purpose for a cake dome. I washed the product before using it and could still smell a faint odor. I chalked it up to it being new materials and stored a small slice of carrot cake in it. After one day, the carrot cake smelled and tasted odd. I figured the product needed to be washed extra thoroughly with an air dry — which I did. I stored some cookies in it on the second use and the cookies tasted horrible after 48 hours. Very chemical taste that permiates your food and lingers in your mouth. After several washes, and a lingering chemical smell and TASTE, this has to be dangerous. DO NOT buy this product for food. Horrible and most likely dangerous to ingest anything kept in it.

The wood leaves your food with a weird taste and smell. I thought it was just me and then I read the reviews… I’m sad because I can’t find another that looks like this but I would not recommend, at least not for food.
