incorrect middle rod
I like the style, but the wrong piece in package - middle rod is an end piece, not the width extender rod. Unable to use.

Hi Kate- You have what you need, actually. The middle rod has an end to accommodate shorter lengths per the instructions. However, it simply slides inside the outer rods (even with the end piece) and works great. Please reach out with any questions.

Broken finial, warped rod
I received my item with a cracked finial - I was able to glue it back together and it faces the wall so you can't tell. The finials are not real wood at all. I also had to bang out a dent in the rod to get it to slide together. Really poor quality. Would not buy again.

I needed a sturdy curtain rod and this one fit the bill. Looks higher end and I’ve had one set for at least 3 years with no problem. Added another to my boys’ room and it’s worked great for them as well! Only the knob is wooden, but that’s really what makes it sturdy while also giving it a sleek look with the knob detail.

In the listing photo online the faux wood appears to have a warm undertone. In person it is a cool undertone. I didn't keep it for that reason, so I can't say anything about the quality of the curtain rod, but the coloring being so off is frustrating.

Very nice curtain rods
Nothing real special about these rods. I had to mail order them because the only black traditional style rods at my Target store are brown/bronze. Their buyers need to understand that not everyone likes modern style decor. These work just fine for my project and I like the wood finials but you really cant tell theyre wood from a distance. I appreciate that they came with nice hardware, black screws and wall anchors. The brackets were a bit of a pain. You have to unscrew the finials to install the rods, which I did not realize until I was up on my ladder. Not a big deal, but its much easier to use the traditional bracket where you just lay the rod on top of the bracket. Maybe these are meant for earthquake country so the rods wont bounce off? Possibly.
