Q: I've had this play kitchen for over 6 months, and the wood still has a chemical smell. What is this wood treated with and is it toxic?
A: Hi Honestreview - The smell is likely coming from the paint, which can have a lingering odor if it is packaged soon after it is manufactured. The paint we use is water based, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. The smell will evaporate naturally but it is completely safe to use and is tested thoroughly for quality and safety.
