Q: How do you get the smaller beads onto the threads? Is there a sharp point or something to use? We received this kit but cannot get it to work because the thread is larger than the hole in the beads and there is no easy way to string it.

A: The smaller beads are actually meant to be used with the elastic cording since it is the thinnest and fits through the small hole

This is a defective item in that the strings meant to hold the beads comes unraveled and are useless. The child was understandably disappointed and frustrated.

This kit is impossible to use. The string is too wide to fit through most of the beads, and too floppy to fit through the larger beads. There is no way for a kid to thread beads with the materials provided. It led to a lot of frustration and an upset kid when we tried to use it. The packaging is also terrible - when you open it the beads go flying everywhere. There is only one of many letters so you can’t even really spell some names or words. Don’t buy this kit.
