Description
The Worx Nitro WX891L.9 20V Power Share 25’ Cordless Drain Auger is easier to use for clearing tough clogs than a hand-operated plumbing snake and is much less expensive than calling a plumber each time you have a difficult drain to clear. Part of the Worx Nitro Series of battery-operated tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products, which are engineered to provide more power, greater performance, and better run times than other battery-powered tools on the market. The Nitro Drain Auger provides up to 560 RPM to break up the toughest stoppages, and the variable speed trigger gives the user control to find the best speed for the job at hand. (Different pipes, drains, and clog types require different speeds to clear effectively.) This drain auger was built to handle drains up to 2 in. wide and is perfect for toilets, bathtubs, sinks, downspouts and more. It’s easy to use. It weighs only 9.2 lbs., so almost anyone can operate it. The 25 ft. ¼ in.-diameter steel cable extends and retracts automatically, so you don’t need to feed it down the drain like you do with a plumbing snake. And this drain auger is cordless, so you eliminate the hassle or hazard of tripping over or getting snagged on a cord. Chemical cleaners can be dangerous and less effective, plumbing snakes require a lot of manual labor and can damage pipes, while the Nitro Drain Auger pays for itself after just one use compared to the rates that a plumber charges.

Awesome auger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for clogged sinks, toilets, and other household drains. 25ft may not be enough distance to get to deeper clogs at your street drain or drain line along the side of the house. Battery life is a non-issue, any clog will be destroyed well before this runs out of juice. A simple lever controls the extension and retraction. Easy and effective product.

Used this tool this week for the first time and was very impressed with how it works. Had a different brand from another retailer and used it about 3-4 times and it broke. Never could tell how much of the snake was going out. This works so nice and easy to power out or power back. Easy to tell it is extending. Defiantly would recommend this as I service a number of restaurants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to clean line from water heater to septic, periodically it would over flow. Did a great job to clear obstruction, easy to use. Heavy duty cable and motor worked fine to ream out blockage. Easily paid for tool in what I saved on not having to call a plumber.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a Worx fan, I bought this drain auger was kind of wanted and hesitated. I wanted it because I needed it for the shower drain in my house that needed to be cleaned. I used to go to the big band store to rent one when I needed it. The hesitation is will this cordless work as well or powerful as the rental. So I flip my coin then I purchased this cordless drain auger. After 2 drain cleaning, I didn't regret my purchase, it works as well as the rental or better. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to clear out a plugged dryer vent. I moved the dryer away and was able to clear the vent from inside my home rather than going to the roof in mid-December (I'm 61). I only had to clear the auger head a couple of times.
Awesome product!

67 year old grandma here. Thought I would give this a try as no way does my arm hold out to use a hand operated auger. Minus a stupid novice mistake worked wonderful. (Footnote don’t pull out auger trying to see how far you’ve gone without winding it back in. Big mistake…line coils up on it self) HIGHLY recommend this product!!!

Used to clear a toilet with sludge build up, did the job, but did scratch the porcelain. Put washcloth over inside of toilet before clearing to prevent this

I practiced with this tool and found it more than I expected. Heavy duty duty is an under statement. I would have given 5 stars but I haven’t needed to use the tool for real. I’m sure it will be fine.

A snap to use. A little bulky but you have to keep in mind that there is 25ft of "cable" in there. Very simple & easy to use "in-out-neutral" lever & all the power you will need with the 20V battery. It would be even more versatile if it came with changeable tips for different types of drain "clogs" you could cut through. The cable is small & flexible enough that it makes it a little scary used in 3" or larger drains. Best used in 2" or smaller drains. Anyone interested in a used 10ft hand operated drain snake. . . . .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have other Worx tools and bought this tool due to the fact that I could use the other batteries I have in case one battery is low in power. It is a little heavy but does unclogs drains. I 'like the fact that one can automatically have the tool go forward and reverse. Its power is very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase the worx - nitro 25 feet cordless Drain Auger and totally out preform my old corded one. What a pleasure to operate, have recommended to friends and neighbor We live in a town that the average age of homes are 100 years. Therefore your compact cordless unit is great for tight places which is common in Lambertville NJ

This auger made quick work of a 1 1/2 inch water line that was plugged with mineral deposits. A hand auger could not navigate the Deposits and two 90 degree Bends. This Worx power auger did the trick!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this a few times over the past month or so. I have to say the versatility of having a single item, with no drill needed, and no power cord needed. That in and of itself is VERY nice and convenient. And on top of that, its motor slowly pushes the plug forward (and back!). Just an amazing achievement in convenience, don't know what to say. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is because I probably didn't operate it the right way in the last use of it. I guess you rarely, if ever, should push the 'L' or 'R' buttons to the 'R'. The instructions, clearly translated from non-English, are kind of vague or imprecise in this way. The front or back buttons for what direction the plug goes, that's fine. It's just the spinning direction of the plug (clockwise or counterclockwise). Apparently counterclockwise is bad, and should almost never be used. I wish that was demonstrated more or discussed more. Online training videos of the proper use of this tool would be excellent! Aside from that, I have to say it is one of my favorite Worx tools at the moment!

Received this for Christmas from the wife. Next day the tub shower unit drain clogged up. Used the auger on it, a plunger didn't work. Like a hot knife through butter.

I do a lot of work on rentals that have issues. I have a large auger machine, but this is perfect for the sink/shower drains. And what I really like about this Worx is that the forward and reverse works so well, unlike my last one.
