Description
The Worx Landroid S is here to give larger lawn owners their weekends back. It comes with a robust 6.0Ah high-capacity Power Share battery and a wider 8-in. cutting width to mow up to a 1/8 acre. You’ll never have to cut your lawn again once you set up your Landroid. Just place the charging base, lay the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and secure it with pegs, and finish setup on the handy Landroid App. You can even control Landroid and schedule mowing times from the App, without ever getting off your couch. It’s packed with cutting-edge tech to ensure it does a good job and leaves you with a lawn you can be proud of. The patented AIA (Artificial Intelligence Algorithm) allows it to navigate narrow passages with ease (something other robotic mowers have trouble with). And its Floating Blade Disc automatically raises the blades when Landroid encounters uneven terrain, so it doesn’t get trapped or stuck. Plus, it’s powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor that runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful, and offers 10% longer life compared to mowers with brushed motors. The Landroid S is the next generation of robotic lawn mowers, with more performance and functionality to take on bigger yards.

trimmy no cut - 5 months ago

I bought a Landroid 165 W over two years ago. The first two seasons it did reasonably well but got stuck intermittently. This year it gets stuck all of the lawn. It seems to have much less power than previous. It seems to get stuck very easily to the point that it is pretty much useless at cutting the lawn. Also the need to carry it back to the base every time it gets stuck is incredibly inconvenient. Despite my early excitement and success I can no longer recommend this product as it should work for at least 4 seasons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my favorite ever purchases. No more time and energy spent mowing the grass - instead it's trimmed automatically, a little each day, which is also better for a healthy lawn. The one-time initial setup is easy to do and well worth it - after that, you can sit back and just get a notification on your phone when he's going out and returning to base (although it's fun to watch). He'll even handle delays due to rain, and you can configure multiple zones to be mowed (e.g. front and back lawn). A genuine time-saver that frees up your time to spend on other things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work a lot , and when I’m off usually it’s a fight to have the weather right to mow. After the initial set up and a week of tweaking and modifying, and filling in holes I can honestly say this thing is amazing. The only things I would change would be to add a bit more of weight over the rear wheels for better traction, to have at least 8.0 ah batteries because it does drain quickly, as well as knowing how much boundary wire you will need, all in all I am very impressed with the entry level mower, and will likely keep upgrading as newer models arrive , the app for iOS could use a bit of tweaking and polishing though
I love my Landroid robo mower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can tell that the Landroid wr165 is a well thought out and experienced robotic mower. Had no problem setting it up and with it's firmware upgrading on the run and changeable battery eliminates the need to take the unit in for service. I liked it so much that I bought 2 WR165 to mower my yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old lady here. I love my guys. Chip and Dale. Chip mows the dog yard while Dale gets most of the back and front. There are only a few places in the yard where they can’t go, so I bought a Worx 20” self propelled to cover that. Needless to say, the yard looks great all the time now.
Amazingly quiet and very convenient

We've had the Landroid for about a month and are very happy with it. It is a solid machine but so much quieter than I expected. Since it is so quiet, I set the auto-scheduler to allow running night or day, instead of just during the day. I haven't had to do any routine maintenance yet, but with the extra blades that came with it and the fact that it uses the same battery system that my other Worx tools use, I think I will be able to do all the routine maintenance myself and replacement parts, like the blades, are very reasonably priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I bought this finally, the cost of this mower was the cost of having a mowing service take care of my yard for a summer. Just take the plunge and take care of the yard on your own. You are going to love it.

Been working the kinks out of my Landroid teaching me what it likes for the past few weeks. Still seems to like leaving the boundary for some reason. But… I just left the yard to speak with my neighbor and this is what I saw upon my return: Oops, it looks like you need a YouTube account!

I've had it up and running for a month and I have to say I don't remember when I've been so happy with a gadget. Running the wire wasn't horrible but not a lot of fun, but now that it's all set up, I'm amazed every day. How it gets everything the way it pinballs around , I don't know, but it does. I bought mine when it came with the ACS, and it's great too. It really goes around my planters. I was skeptical because my yard is so small and complex, but this thing does the job and it's so awesome to not have to mow the yard anymore. I thought I would miss it, but I don't. It takes me about 5 minutes to trim up the edges, and it looks perfect all the time. No more clippings to deal with. Even after a month, I still go out and watch it do its thing for about 30 minutes every evening. Love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Landroid to mow my backyard. I have to start off my saying that my backyard has problems. In short I would say that my yard is "lumpy" and it has viney Bermuda Grass. It's making it tough on the Landroid. It will take me a while to get my yard in better shape. I plan to seed it with Zoysia like I did my front yard and I am going to add more dirt to smooth things out. The Landroid does a good job at maneuvering to get around the problems in my yard which really shows the intelligence in the software. I'm getting older and the heat is getting hotter so I'm really going to enjoy not mowing my backyard. If you have a new yard get a Landroid as soon as possible. I wish I had bought one sooner.

Being an individual of the ‘Senior Citizen’ variety, my ailing health has precluded me from cutting my own lawn. My ever-increasing maladies have allowed me to cut the lawn in short bursts ONLY, before having to rest again and again. This Autonomous device has relieved me of the arduous task of cutting my own lawn. The yard is beautiful all the time now. It looks manicured all the time now. It's also fun to play with the technology of a robotic lawnmower. I would also advise anyone to NOT do like me. Initially I scoffed at the directions for laying the perimeter wire. This meant having to go back and be more precise on my measurements afterwards. So, my advice: stick to the directions. I’m very pleased with the lawnmower and would highly recommend WORX as your preferred supplier when considering an Autonomous Lawn Mower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my landroid for only a couple weeks. Make sure you take your time during the installation. The better your install the better it will work. After fixing a couple problem areas, my lawn is in great shape. Great purchase and I'd definitely buy again.

The slope is the worse enemy, and is not a hill, is just a medium lake slope, so come out of wire very often , when need to turn , in place to do a reverse and then a 180 , continues going forward, the wheels should have more traction, and they should allow remote control with the app to cut missing spots in the grass
Super convenient once installed. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After installing the boundary wire and making adjustments to it I have saved many hours of work. I no longer have to push a mower. There are only a couple of downsides but they are minor: the weight distribution should be a little heaver towards the rear of the Landroid so that it turns easier and with more traction when over soil or wet grass. The other thing is grass clippings tend to accumulate between the blades and the blade disc due to a small gap. Installing third-party blades and bolts fixed that issue. It mows on auto schedule where you can define when not to mow (such as during irrigation). Now I can spend more time weeding, fertilizing and treating my lawn. Highly recommend this product. The grass is mowed evenly and always looks freshly cut. The only thing you have left to do is edging since this won't get to every edge of the lawn. It was definitely a great purchase and battery can be easily replaced.
