Not Even Close to the Authentic Thing
This was not gross but was terrible. For those expecting this to be even slightly close to the authentic thing- it is completely NOT. Cilantro isn’t even listed on the front of the box and not the top ingredient in the back but it is heavily loaded with this. Cilantro should not be an ingredient in BBQ pork bun, not even onion. Traditionally should be just the pork and BBQ sauce; my kids love Chinese BBQ pork buns (origin is Chinese) and they took one bite and left it. This is some extreme fusion test item- maybe for the Target crowd but not those looking for quick near authentic fix. Too expensive to even give it a try.

Amazing Baos
Amazed by Wow Bao. I’ve been a big fav of their baos since trying them out. The Bbq pork flavor is one of my favs. Definitely a great go to when I can’t make it down to Chinatown and need it to satisfy my craving. The pork is well seasoned with just enough sweetness to pair with the savory flavor. The bao has super soft dough. Easy to prepare by microwave or steaming.
