The Xbox One S is amazing and worth the upgrade. 4K support and better internals make the visual experience of games better. I have played the included Battlefield One on the Xbox One and the Xbox One S. There is a major benefit to have the Xbox One S. Even on a 1080p screen the visual clarity of the game is improved. The included game of Battlefield One (BF1) is a good game for fans of the Battlefield series and plays similar to Battlefield 3. The game requires a large amount of storage for the game and additional Downloadable Content DLC. If you plan to buy more games soon, I recommend picking up an external HDD or solid state drive. If you just plan to enjoy BF1, then you will be able to play the game with the included storage space of 500GB. (The Xbox operating system takes up a good amount of the internal storage.) Don't forget to buy an Xbox Live subscription to be able to play online games. The game is rated M +17 for Mature so I do not recommend this game for anyone under 17.
Bought xbox one while it was on sale from target. price was terrific and I was able to pick it up from store an hour after i bought it online. xbox one is easy to setup. the video game--battlefield one--is a digital download. i was surprised by the size of the file--it was about 50-55 gbs--and it took a while to download. But once it was downloaded--game played smoothly. xbox one also plays blue ray dvds. the first time you play one--you need to download blue ray app. overall--i am happy with this purchase. I feel like i got a good deal. i would buy this product again.
I don't like the original price, but it was my birthday and I bought it because I got a $200 gift certificate with a phone purchase and it was on sale. So i paid $42 in all with tax. Overall, I'm really glad I made the purchase. 4k feed with my 4k TV is awesome!! I used to have xbox 360 and I'm really impressed with the new system. I have only 4 complaints...2 complaints are not really related to the unit itself...1) When you turn it on memory is already consumed by the OS...2) It takes a long time for games to download...3) I don't like paying a lot of money for Live Gold...4) I got a free gold sign up with purchase but because I was a previous gold member it wouldn't allow me to use the free sign up.
Pros: - Amazing game selection - Battlefield 1 is incredibly realistic and makes you feel like you're in the battle - Unlike PS4 Pro, let's you watch 4k blu-rays! - Also plays 3D Blu-rays - HDR games look amazing Cons: - Having to pay for an Xbox Live Gold membership in order to do any co-op/multiplayer is unfortunate. - Occasionally appears to struggle with some 4k blu-rays Summary: I've never been much of a gamer, and in terms of skills, my 7-year-old can practically wipe the floor with me in Halo. But this console is converting me, particularly with the Battlefield 1 bundle! Between that and Star Wars Battlefront, it's incredible to experience the cutting edge graphics!
We are on our third console. First one quit turning on after the 5th day. Target was EXCELLENT in exchanging for a new console. It seemed that once we said it was having problems turning on, that it was a common issue. The second console, after updating and installing all the games and game updates, started glitching. Not loading movies or game discs, Hanging up when updating for 2 to 3 hours. Have to hard power cycle on almost a daily basis. On third Console. One unit malfunctioning is maybe understandable, but 2 is unacceptable. If it wasnt for Target exchanging consoles with little or no hassle I would have asked for my money back. But will see how the 3rd one does.
