Super stylish, I loved this chair from the second I got it until… I sat on it for more than one day. They made the bonehead move of using same fabric upholstery that covers the cushions as the sling / support underneath the cushion. Within one day of using it it was sagging. It looks like it’s 30 years old and it’s less than a month.

Stunningly uncomfortable
This chair is aesthetically everything you want for a space. Fabric is soft and the wide deep seat is great. However, the way the back is built makes it wildly uncomfortable to sit in for longer than 5 mins. I’m a short person and I can feel the bar cutting across the middle. I can’t imagine the low back pain if I was taller. I also haven’t sat in it long and I can tell it won’t last too long. Wanted to love it but definitely returning.

Exactly as expected
Overall, this is a nice chair. It is decent quality for the price, but looks more high-end than it feels. It does look exactly like the photographs and is pretty big. I can sit cross-legged on it comfortably and I’m 5’6”. One photo claims it has “robust springs” but there is no way there’s springs inside this cushion. It’s just foam. It doesn’t feel like the most sturdy chair, and I worry about its integrity long term. Particularly because the cushion is sat on what is essentially a fabric sling, held onto the chair by plastic zippers. I worry it won’t hold up for long, but for the price it may still be worth it. The directions are terrible! There’s very little guidance and none when it comes to which way things should be facing. Luckily, it’s a simple chair and looking at the photos and thinking a bit should be enough to compensate for the poor directions. Overall, I’m quite happy with the chair. In my search for a new chair, the other ones I was interested in were coming in at $500+ so considering I bought this for $176 I’m very happy.
