Q: How long before bed time should this be taken??

A: I take a melatonin supplement about 30 minutes before bedtime, but it usually takes 20 minutes for it to make me tired. As an autistic adult, I sometimes use 1 mg when I have a lot of anxiety.
submitted bycrstlgls - 3 years agoA: I used to take melatonin and was looking for both adult and children's and I noticed your question. I took it the time I wanted to go to bed. Let's say I wanted bedtime to be 9:30 so I took it around 9:15. I'm assuming that would be the same for children. Hope this helps your question.
