[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good heat mat for my son’s leopard gecko - it provides enough warmth under a hut. We also use above the cage lighting . We don’t use the mat in the warmest summer months . I wish they had an on/off switch instead of just plugging it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adhesive holds to the bottom of the tank well. I like how it is outside the tank. I don’t have to worry about cleaning it. It provides just the right amount of warmth. My son’s lizard has been sitting there regularly and seems happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was perfect for our leopard gecko in her 10 gallon tank. The heat output is great without getting too hot. We placed it under the tank which has sand in it and our gecko loves to sit in that area. Very durable and made of high quality materials. Long cord is very convenient. Definitely worth the market price. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this product for free from #influenster in exchange for my honest review, This heating mat is constructed out of durable plastic that rounds up on the edges leaving the center of the mat concave. While the glue is very tacky, I feel the molded concave shape made it a bit hard to keep the mat fully adhered to the tank as I mounted it on the side of the tank. I like that the cord is lengthy so I do not have to use a power strip to plug it in. The temperature stayed well heated and my bearded dragon is snug in his enclosure nestled up to the heat source at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decorating terrariums can be an incredibly fun hobby, but choosing a heat source that works best for the animal on display can be daunting when faced with all the options currently available on the market. If you are looking for supplemental heat for a reptile or invertebrate that does not require basking, then look no further! Installation is a breeze and the adhesive has kept the heat mat firmly in place since installation. The heat radiates throughout the mat thoroughly and does a phenomenal job at providing the correct amount of warmth. I have a vinegaroon (a type of whip scorpion) that likes to burrow under substrate and is most active at night. This heat mat has been a great addition to her setup as it allows her to have a warmer side to her tank at all times - even when all the lights are out! I highly recommend using a plug in thermostat to help regulate the temperature of the heat mat. I use a digital temperature control from Zilla and have never had any issues and the peace of mind knowing my reptiles and invertebrates have a stable environment is worth every penny!

The reason I have four stars is because, any heat mat used for a reptile enclosure NEEDS to have a thermostat to regulate the temp or it could get too hot and burn them (and/or) crack the glass of the terrarium. The adhesive is very strong and over all a good product

It is safe pretty good and it’s held up for about two weeks now and still going strong so I think this is great for the price you can’t beat it.

They are reasonably priced. Installation is simple. The temperature is self regulated. It is available in multiple sizes for whatever type of reptile you may have. re

I have used them for reptiles in the past but for this terrarium it is just a home for plants and this mat keeps it a wonderful ambient temperature. Be advised that if you are using this for a reptile it should be applied to the underside of the terrarium as to not burn or harm your pet. The cord is about 3ft long so you may need an extension cord.
