Ziploc Storage Gallon Bags

Does exactly the job I was hoping it would do.

Box arrived mangled and torn to shreds. Very disappointed in Target packaging abilities

I looked at Target online before I drove to the store to purchase these and knew they were in stock. However, when I got to the store they did not have the 42 count storage gallon bags although there was a tag on the shelf for it. Instead, they had 38 count boxes for the same price next to that area (identical bags, just old product). I asked a worker to check for me and he told me they don’t have the 42 count and that I should go down the street to Michael’s to look for them. I had planned to buy 3 to get the sale price but with this, didn’t. So I got 10% fewer bags and couldn’t get the sale price. I’m not sure about the quality of the bags but wanted to leave this review in case the quantity really matters to someone. After this, will only shop at Target until my Target gift cards are gone.

The entire box of bags was pink I bought two. Ziplock does not sale pink gallon storage bags.

Please stop using single use plastic! There are compostable bags out there that are way better for you and the environment. Microplastics get in your food, your body, our planet and stays forever.

The seals constantly pull apart when you open the bag for the first time, making them unusable and a waste of money. I do not recommend.

All ziplock boxes were smashed, torn and opened! Purchased these for an elementary school. Cannot give to school in the deplorable condition of all the Ziploc items I purchased!!

I feel confident with Ziplock bags.

These bags are good and can be used for many things.

I bought a whole case of the new design fold and fill, and the bags are defective. Most bags have a big hole along the bottom right out of the box.

I'm really excited that this Fold & Fill technology is now a thing for Ziploc storage bags. I'm invincible in the kitchen now. It's like I have an extra hand to help me store leftovers. I'm definitely buying these style of storage bags with the same grip n seal technology I'm used to from the Ziplic brand, from now on. I'd like Ziploc to improve the perforated cardboard box though, as it was difficult to open the box along the perforations to get the bags out. Otherwise, I'm sold on the convenience of this product.

To be honest, I'm a terrible liar, so I'm always honest even if it gets me into trouble. I've always preferred resealable bags that have the zip lock instead of the slider bags. Ziploc storage bags seal better, are more study, and are less likely to puncture easily. I love that you can wash and reuse the gallon storage bags. It's also very convenient that you can use the bags in the microwave, such as steaming fresh veggies. You obviously will need to watch the bag in the microwave so you don't cause the bag to melt. I prefer the gallon size because there's many times that a quart size is just a tad bit too small. Oh, and I have no issues with using the storage gallon Ziploc bags in my freezer. Whatever I put in the bags to be frozen has never had a freezer burn, nor has the bags ripped open from tossing around other frozen foods in my freezer chest.

These bags are super helpful when trying to bag food items because they stand up and stay open. They can be a little thin if I am going to use them for travel or things have have rough edges. Over all, I really like these bags for packaging food.
