The velvet is so soft on top and there is a nice cotton backing, both patterns being so nice. I am going to purchase the matching shams so it can be complete. It is a good mid weight, not too heavy. Not too Christmas themed, can be used all winter. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ended up giving this quilt to my mom because it fits her bed and she wanted a new one. She said that this one is a little bit thicker than her last quilt, making it a lot more comfortable than the one she had before. She loves the flower design, and the fact that it is reversible! I personally like the blue side more. Definitely a great quilt for anyone in need of a new one!
