I needed a new small slicing knife and this one is perfect. It makes quick work of tomatoes and sandwiches. The Zwilling Four Star design gives a comfortable handle and a very sharp blade. The forged German steel and construction blade is super sharp and stays that way for a long time. When it comes time to resharpen it is very easy to maintain.

This is the knife my Four Star collection was missing. For a long time I have felt the need for something in between my 10" chef and slicing knives and a paring knife. This knife beautifully fills that gap.

This is a terrific knife for slicing and peeling. The narrowness of the blade reduce the drag and the razor sharp makes it glide right through whatever you are slicing. Great for breads, softer vegetables and fruits with tougher skins. And the quality of this knife is unquestionable. There’s a reason the Four Star line has been a part of Zwilling’s lineup forever. It was designed with professionals in mind, so the focus was on safety, comfort and durability. The ‘grippy’ polypropylene handle is proportionate to the blade and the work - therefore no excess weight. The blade steel and method of construction is proprietary and at the forefront of technology. The blade can both take a beating and hold an edge, ideal for daily use and hard work. Although dishwasher safe, all knives perform and look better if they are hand washed. I’ve had a Four Star in my collection for decades. And it still comes out for certain jobs. I expect it will be there for a while longer.

This knife is so sharp and I love the handle because it is very comfortable to use and I can get a great grip so I feel secure when I am cutting food. I love the design and I use this for things like slicing avocados and apples.
