Poor quality

Valve slowly releases pressure
Less than 6 months after getting this item, the seal lets go 45 minutes after vacuuming. I contacted Zwilling and the latest response is "take the item to the nearest Zwilling store for evaluation". The nearest store is 5 hours away (Toronto, I live in Ottawa).

Perfect for Salads!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The large lunch boxes are the perfect size for luncheon salads; and what makes them especially useful is for those times when you get busy and have to put off lunch to later in the day or even until the following day, the vacuum seal insures a crisp fresh salad each and every time. What a great vessel for a wonderfully tasty meal!

Can't be used to pack lunches
I like the pump and container appearance, they're really easy to use and they seem to work well to store food under vacuum. The main downside for me is that you really need the pump in order to seal the lid of the container, which makes them impractical to transport food (e.g. for lunch or picnic). The issue is that, once you're done eating, it's impossible to seal the container again without the pump, so any leftover liquid or oil can spill in your transport bag. This is a disappointment because I intended to use these containers to prepare the week's lunches and just pack them in my bag every morning. It feels like it should be possible to seal the container without the pump, and then use the pump to create the vacuum

Much easier to use than food saver. But you can only use proprietary bags, there are no cut to size bags available (no thermal sealer).

Vacuum lunchbox
While I prefer glass, sometimes plastic is a better option so this is perfect. In general I would like to see more variety and sizes and shapes in both glass and plastic.Vacuum lunchbox. I would also like to see more divider options for the glass containers.

Practical and well made Zwilling Vacuum Containers
I love the Zwilling Plastic Vacuum Containers. They are well made and much lighter to use everyday compared to the practically same Zwilling Glass Containers. The worst thing about these and all the Zwilling Vacuum Containers is that you cannot securely close the lid without using the Vacuum Pump; and on the rare occasion, even after using the pump the lid will still come off. The only other issue might be that the lids are a pain to clean and dry, but I think any vacuum sealing container could have this issue.
