ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A. I bought the Zwilling PRO 10" slicing knife to go with my new 17-piece set of PRO knives. In the past I used the 8" version, but I decided to get the longer version this time and am glad I did. This knife is perfect for slicing large cakes with ease. No more having to make shorter cuts because the cake swallows your knife. This one does the job in one clean motion.

I love this knife. The extra length makes it great for everything even large hams and roasts. The German made German forged steel blade is very sharp. The thin profile of the blade gives accurate thin slices every time. The curved bolster encourages the proper holding of the knife making it an extension of my arm giving great accuracy as I slice.

You can tell that the designers and craftsmen that made this knife put a lot of thought into what they wanted out of a slicing knife. The length is great to be able to get thru large cuts of meat and the handle is very comfortable.

This Zwilling German stainless steel slicer is (and stays) incredibly sharp. No-stain/no chip steel is important for this workhorse...angled bolster for additional leverage while pinch-gripping. Traditional 3-rivet, durable handle won't disappoint.
