ZWILLING Professional "S" 3-pc Starter Knife Set

I like these knives so much I also got the 2 piece set for our household. The quality is there and they are well balanced.

Blown away by these knives. Well crafted, high quality and very sharp. Very pleased with the purchase and look forward to having this set for a long time.

Most useful set of knives for a young adult. The large one is used almost everyday by my 25-30 year old kids. The serrated one is wonderful for tomatoes and small breads or rolls, and the paring knife is perfect for peeling fruit, taking the tops off strawberries or chopping a garlic clove. Most useful gift I’ve ever given. Oh and get a sharpener.

There are knives and then there are great knives. These are the latter. The build quality is excellent and they handle like a dream.

The utility knife is practical for mushrooms cheese and tomatoes. and the paring knife makes peeling an apple a breeze

I have rheumatoid arthritis and cutting almost anything was painful. Now cutting is so much easier with Zwilling knives. The handles are comfortable. The knives are a little pricey, but are well worth the investment.

These Pro S knives by Zwilling are perfection. The forged German steel is very durable. The blades are very sharp and stay that way for a long time and when it is time to sharpen they are very easy. The traditional three rivet design of the handle with the full bolster are very comfortable and feel familiar. The Chefs knife is great for most of my tasks. I use the serrated one for tomatoes and citrus and the pairing knife for all my other small tasks.

This is a a very good combination of true cooking knives. The Chef's knife is the most popular all purpose knife around. The paring and the serrated utility will handle the smaller and more specific tasks - peeling, coring, slicing tomatoes and bread. You're pretty much covered. A longer bread knife, maybe a carving knife, and possibly a santoku would be the next additions depending on how you cook. Professional S is terrific line of knives. They feature a traditional straight bolster and a slightly smaller handle. As a result they are a little lighter than the new Pro line. I have owned one of these knives for years (more than 10). It has performed year in and year out, and I cook a lot. I sharpen it maybe twice a looks almost new.

I bought this set for my father, to replace several of his worn out knives. He loves it, and uses the chef’s knife and paring knife on a daily basis.
