I believe it’s important to keep track of your own health regularly. A lot of people only check their blood pressure when they’re at the doctor’s office or happen to be near a pharmacy, but having a monitor at home makes it easy to stay aware. The Braun monitor is very easy to use and easy to read, even for someone who isn’t used to using medical devices at home. The instructions are straightforward, and the display is clear and large enough to see your results without confusion. It’s lightweight enough to take it wherever you want around the house or anywhere else. The sleeve doesn’t pinch or anything so we don’t have any complaints about the design and comfort. The accuracy seems pretty good — we’ll definitely keep using the device. Important note: This is a great tool for personal health management, but it’s not a replacement for medical care. Always continue following your doctor’s advice and your established healthcare plan.

You just add the 4 AA batteries to the monitor and plug in the hose connected to the arm wrap and you are all set. The reading only takes a few seconds and doesn't hurt. It is just a short squeeze and the reading is done. It is very portable and easy to use for everyone. The one downfall is the arm wrap is smaller and may not work well for a muscular large arm, but it still takes a good reading from what our past blood pressures have been. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Putting it on requires a learning curve, it’s hard to do one handed. If you tighten it first then put it on and use the bar to adjust it, that seems to work better. It’s accurate. Same numbers as when the doctor took it 2 weeks ago.

The color code lets you know how is your pressure, you are looking for a green heart. It is small and light so you can take it with you anywhere you go.

The readings are accurate and dependable from my review and the machine itself is very easy to use. Due to its small size it would be very easy to travel with it also. As a nurse, I can take other people’s blood pressure manually but had no way of monitoring my own. This unit seems to be very accurate when compared to a manual result. It’s compact and very easy to use. The cuff is easily applied with one hand and the monitor does the rest. The reading was calibrated very quickly. It also shows heart rate and a color coded meaning of the results. There also appears to be a memory function which I have not yet used.
