  • A: Mine did the same. Basically you have to keep pressing "SET" and once you see KPA hurry and press "MEM" then it should give go back to mmgh then press SET again

Excellent BP moniter, very accurate at an excellent price

I was hesitant to purchase this blood pressure monitor due to the bad reviews, but I have been pleasantly surprised. It is definitely a price right at $30 and is just as good as any of the others on the market that are twice the price or more. I always do my right and left arm, and they’re always very close which as a registered nurse tells me that this blood pressure monitor is accurate. No blood pressure monitor, including those at a doctors office or as accurate as using a cuff and stethoscope, however some blood pressure monitors on the market can be quite inaccurate. This one is not. Both the monitor and the cuff are made of good quality materials, the monitor is very simple to set up, agives you memory for up to two people, and I’m impressed by it. make sure to read the instructions, with correct use- cuff secure and not to loose or tight, with the artery label lined up correctly with the nook of your arm, sit quietly with your legs uncrossed, arm fully extended, and relaxed,you’ll get a best reading

Poor quality. The tube falls out of the machine really easily, almost instantly. Constant error messages make it unuseable.

Missing manual

Thus far it's worked reasonably well, though the Target-provided batteries died after a few uses. Target doesn't provide a pdf of the manual, which is a hassle.

Inaccurate Reading

Maybe I'm doing wrong or my arm is too small. I got blood pressure checked in the doctor's office 2wks ago and it's was 120/70. This device gave me a reading of 143/53. I've never been above 120 and I recently had blood loss. If anything it should be low. I this brand probably is not meant for slim arms. I don't have any cardiovascular conditions and I'm not any meds that increase blood pressure. I waited 10 minutes, changed arms and the device read errors and then inflated so much I thought it would burst.

Works consistently

I tried 5 different blood pressure monitors, from the Omron for $65 to the the manual one with a stethoscope for $25, and they all gave inconsistent readings, however, this one gives fairly consistent readings and is easy to use. I highly recommend this one I have had it and used it for about 2 months so far.

Blood pressure at the Dr was 124/72. Came home to check the monitor and it read 145/91. Do not buy!!

Inaccurate readings

The readings I received while using this device were dangerously and inaccurately high. I reread the instructions multiple times to ensure that I was using it correctly, but the readings I was receiving were always very high. I took it along to an appointment with my PCP, and it was giving readings around 120/104, while my doctor and two nurses were all getting readings in the healthy range. I immediately threw it away after the appointment.
