Q: How to chg from metric to regular reading?

A: Hi Kathy, if you follow these steps you should be able to change the Units. 1. When the monitor is off, Press 'SET' to display the time, then hold 'SET' to enter the year selection. 2. Press 'MEM' to change the year. Each press will cycle the year up. 3. Press 'SET' when the correct year is selected and enter the next steps. 4. After you select the year the heartbeat monitor will switch to the next setting. Follow steps 2-3 to set up the Month/Day, Time Format, Hours/Minute, Positioning Symbol, and Units. When you've completed set up the screen will display 'donE' followed by all of your settings and shut off.

This didn’t quite work how we hoped. The design needs to be revised. When we tried to get a reading the battery would kick off because it would lose contact. It was frustrating because it would turn off constantly.

So far so good
I got this yesterday and so far it’s great. There’s a lot of information about wrist monitors being less accurate, but they work when you use them correctly/position your arm and body correctly. The arm cuff monitor is too finicky for me.. some people find them easy to use, but for me they gave me so much anxiety about checking my blood pressure which is unhelpful. I’ve used this a few times yesterday and took a few pressures this morning, each a little bit of time apart, before medication. They are all very close and only had a difference of 133 vs. 132 and 93 vs. 95.

Easy to Use!
I am one of those people that just nods along as my blood pressure was taken in the doctor's office with no clue as to what the numbers meant....until now! This wrist monitor makes it easy to monitor with a bright and clear digital display. The icons indicate good/bad and it so much better than the painful arm monitors!

Blood pressure monitor with ratings that seem higher than normal
This up&up Wrist Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor is a bit high in its readings. After I set it up, my first reading was 127/77 with a 95 pulse rate. My second reading after about 20 minutes of sitting quietly and reading a book was an elevated 140/69 with 94 pulse rate. My spouse's two readings were more similar. His first was 111/78 with a 74 pulse rate and 111/76 with a 72 pulse rate. My usual BP reading is around 110/65 with a pulse rate around 62. His usual BP reading is around 110/70 with a pulse rate around 67. It could be that we were not sitting correctly when the readings were taken. The one nice thing about this device is that it won't start a reading until your arm is in the correct position. It's easy to set up two users and also easy to get started if you follow the instructions. We have a doctor-approved BP reading machine that we use which is a bit more accurate. Maybe with more use we'll be able to use this one. I also wear a tracker that tracks my heart rate, pulse rate, and BP which seems to be more accurate than this device. We will give this up&up device some more time and testing.

Easy to use
The Up&up wrist automatic Blood Pressure Monitor is easy to use. It has memory storage for 2 people and is easy to read and has backlight. It comes with in a storage pouch and uses 2 AAA batteries. I would’ve liked it if it was rechargeable but overall easy to use, practical and accurate.

Love how easy it is to use . The band is big enough for a man too. I use it weekly as I have high blood pressure. It saves me so much time because I no longer have to run to the drugstore to take it. So convenient I can't believe that I never got one before!!

My doctor told me I need To monitor my heart rate So i am using this wrist Monitor to keep track of My numbers. I really like Being able to use it on my Wrist instead of my upper Arm which always hurts This monitor is easy to use Just apply cuff to your wrist And push the on button And within minutes you Will teceive your reading. This monotor is able to Store and remember 99 Diffetent teadings for two People. The display window Is large along with the Numbers which makes it Very easy to read. Comfortable & Easy to Use
I like that this was super easy to use with the touch of a button and large digital readings. It’s easy to put on and take off by yourself. Reading are accurate for my history and heart rate was spot on with my Apple Watch. I took multiple readings in a row and all were very similar. It comes with the 2 AAA batteries required.
