Ballpoint pens, pencils, and markers write reliably on PET transparent bookmarks. Water-based pens are less reliable—if you use them, allow the ink to fully dry and avoid wiping immediately.

Common uses include bookmarking pages, flagging footnotes or passages, writing quick notes and reminders, labeling or color-coding documents, and marking text for tracing or highlighting without covering it.

Common binding styles are lay-flat multi-pad formats and glue-bound pads or cubes for single-pad formats.
