Many sticky-back strips and tape are designed for smooth surfaces, including walls, plastic, glass, metal, painted wallboard, tile and wood.

Wall Velcro comes as long rolls, narrow tape and pre-cut strips. Common widths shown include 3/4" and 2". Lengths range from a few inches (about 3.5–4" for pre-cut strips) up to longer roll lengths (examples shown up to 18" or 4', depending on the format).

Many options are made for both indoor and outdoor use. Some products are water- and UV-resistant and are described as suitable for extreme weather, including rain, snow and high heat.

Materials listed across options include plastic, nylon and rubber compound.

Most of these fasteners use a peel-and-stick adhesive for an easy, no-tools installation—no hammering, drilling, nails or epoxy is required.

Tape and rolls can be cut or trimmed with household scissors to the size or strip length you need.
