Command™ Refill Strips make it easy to move and rehang your Command™ Products for cleaning, redecoration or re organization. A: Hello - Thank you for asking. No, these adhesives are designed for use as refill adhesives for the Command Hooks and are not designed to be used to mount items. We would not recommend using hooks to mount framed items like pictures or mirrors. Depending on the size and weight of the mirror you could use the Command Large Picture Hanging Strips, 17206. The Large Picture Hanging Strips can support framed items that are up to 24"x36: in size and 16 lbs in weight. A: Hello - Thank you for asking. Command is designed for use on smooth surfaces. If the texture is too great the adhesives will not be able to form a complete bond to the surface.

I want refill strips in BLACK--without the velcro!
Over the years I have had mostly great success with Command hooks, picture hanging velcro strips, and the white foam refill strips. They are my absolute go-to for hanging Christmas decorations each year. I've had less success with the clear strips - you really only want to use those on surfaces like glass or smooth ceramic tile. The thing that really annoys me though is that 3M doesn't sell the foam adhesive refill strips in BLACK. I have tons of little black velcro strips laying in a basket that I can't reuse unless I stick a white foam refill strip on them. I know you make the black foam adhesive strips - why can't you also sell them as "refills" without the velcro part???

Pointless when there is no adhesive
The adhesive is nonexistent. It’s as though they forgot to put the adhesive strip on it or it completely dried up before being used. It’s very disappointing and a waste of money.
