Haven’t had issues with 3m before, but these keep popping off the wall. Tried using to hold a toy net and stuffed animals up in the corner. Haven’t exceeded weight limit, but they pop off the wall within 48 hours.

I was going to hang a 1 lb. picture on my wall. When I realized it wouldn't work for what I needed, I tried to remove it 2 minutes later it ripped the paint and 1st layer off my wall. This is the 2nd time these strips have ruined my wall The 1st time I thought it was a fluke but it happened again today. I won't be buying them anymore!!

They were awesome! I figured it was nice not drilling holes in the wall. Unbeknownst to me, these would cause so much more damage than a simple screw or nail. Took the wall off down to the drywall. No matter how gently I tried to slowly pull the tab, most of them did damage. We had 8 of them up and only one came off leaving the wall intact. These were in various locations in three different room and they all caused the same damage. After these I will never use command strips for anything.

You really have to get the right weight capacity hooks. I use these to hang up my crafting mats and sewing rules and they work great. I have all kinds of command hooks and put some up not really thinking about the weight and they did hold for a good few months before they fell off, but now that I changed to the right capacity weight they have been holding up for much longer and I expect them to continue so word of advice really pay attention to the weight of your hooks. Beware, these adhesive strips don't last long in the package. The last 2 packages I bought, the adhesive strips had lost their stickiness. I end up throwing out quite a few before finding one I can use. They're expensive and you don't find out they no longer work until you peel them to use. Hard to get any refund or return the item at that point. I don't recall seeing any expiration date on these Command strips ?

I bought this a few months ago and I have used these hooks for many things..... In the bathroom with the hand mirror hanging on it, one in my closet for my bathrobe. They also are great coat hooks for little kids coats at my daycare.
