submitted by3MHelps - 5 years agoBrand expertA: It has instutions on the product. I usually attach the adhesive to the hook then hold for ten seconds to bond. Then leave it over night. The next day I push it against then wall cabnet or whatever surface for ten seconds. Then leave it for 24 hours. This is overkill, but seems to work! Next day I hang the thing on it. It urks me when people do not answer these questions and then just give a phone number. We all can learn from real answers! There is a wall side and one to put on the hook. It is marked. It does pull of the plaster if a textured finish. I like the comand adhesive products because I can hang junk up and not have a handi man inside during COVID. I also cannot find anyone because of COVID. Living in apartments this is so important. Dont want to invest. Hope this helped.

I cook a lot, therefore there's a lot of cleanup. I don't always remember to remove my jewelry before I start, so these save me a trip to the jewelry box. They won't get lost and I won't forget where I put them. I have another hook by the back door for an extra garage key. It has come in handy.

I have had it for a long time, and a couple of the small hooks inside the doors have come out. These hooks are the perfect answer. There's no hardware involved I just mounted them in place of where the old necklace hooks were and they work just great. I intend to get more of these hooks since there's more space to add some. 3 M has rescued me again! Easy to apply and hold well.

My favorite use is to put them inside kitchen cabinets to hold potholders, measuring cups and spoons, whisks, and bulky items like potato mashers and soup ladles. They are easy to apply and hold strong. When I have removed one, it did not leave a mark on the surface it was attached to. I highly recommend this product!

In this case I used them on my cool mist humidifier that I have had a hard time trying to keep the cord out of the way when it isn't in use. These only really hold up less than a pound, so I don't know what it could hold, but so far, with the right placement, these have been helpful holding up really well and they keep the cord in place.

I replaced a white strip on my black front door, and the difference is noticeable—especially when nothing is hanging from it. Even when uncovered by décor, the clear strip blends in much better with the surface, giving a cleaner, more subtle look.

I use them for my measuring spoons and cups, and it’s so much easier now—I’m not constantly losing them or trying to dig them out of a drawer. They’re small and clear, so they don’t stick out or ruin the look of the wall, which I really appreciate. They only hold about half a pound, so you’ve got to be mindful not to hang anything too heavy or they’ll start to pull away. But for light stuff like spoons and cups, they’ve worked perfectly. I even had to move one and was surprised at how easily it came off without ruining my wallpaper. Overall, they’re simple, they look nice, and they make my kitchen setup so much easier. I’d definitely recommend them for lightweight things. I really enjoy how much easier they have made things in my kitchen!

So far it is holding up well and doing its job. With all the other samples we’d gotten, this one was at the bottom of those to try. I’m still looking for applications for it!

We got several different command products and were able to use them in the same situations. The light weight hooks worked just perfectly for hanging the dustpan as shown, but pretty much anything heavier was too much of a challenge. It did not survive holding up four or five aprons or the hose from the vacuum cleaner. It worked just fine for the CPAP hose.

These are almost the same size as the other small wire hooks I rec'd - but they are not as wide. They can be used to hang many things around the house to keep them neat. You don't have to look through a drawer or closet to try to find whatever you're looking for. Recommend all 3M products to everyone.
