I wanted to hang some water bottles which weigh just over 1lb each. The tape for these books is clear and is supposed to hold up to 2lbs so I put 3 hooks up last night and hung my bottles this morning. In less than 5 minutes one hook fell off, dropping its bottle to the floor, and another bottle next to it was knocked off as well (although to be honest, its hook did stay in place). I've never really trusted the clear tape and now with good reason. I bought some white strips to use instead - fingers crossed.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. We used these for less than 2 months to display our Christmas stockings without ruining the wall. Went to take these down, and the ends where you pull to remove completely split off so we couldn’t remove them properly. This happened on all 3 hooks. I’ve used command hooks many times and have never experienced this issue, but these ones were not good. Now I get to patch my walls where the paint ripped up.

These do not stick to the wall. I originally bought a different pack (similar - clear hooks, holds 2 pounds, pack of 5), and they didn’t stock either. Then I discovered the box clearly said for windows only. Silly me - didn’t read. So I bought this pack at target - CAREFULLY CHECKING that they were not for windows. Even the peel off part says “wall” - unlike the others. I immediately noticed they didn’t stick to my finger - just like the other pack. These are the exact same ones. They are for windows but not labeled that way (or they’re using the window tape part for these packs). I had to stick 2 to each other to get them to stick. Wasteful. Do NOT buy these for walls unless you want to use 2 in each other - then maybe you stand a chance.

The adhesive formula in with these 2 products are different. The indoor cannot be used on windows and the outdoor may. Using 1 strip per hook, we are not able to recommend using more than 1 strip per hook. I have purchased several packs of these hooks. The first package wouldn't even stick to the walls and the second package tore paint off my walls when they fell down. These products have gotten horrible and cause more problems.

I put these two on my wall and before I could even grab the item I wanted to hang the one fell off the wall. So I cleaned the wall and tried again and with barely any pressure it fell off the wall.

I tried these for the first time at Christmas after hearing multiple good reviews, however when I took it off the wall it took a patch of paint with it. My walls were painted over 4 years ago and I have nothing left to touch it up, so I'm really not happy. I would not trust these again.

I have used many different types of commas hooks and these are the first to not hold up. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the surface first and they keep falling down. They are a clear strip and in my opinion, are inferior to the white strips.

Bought it put it up and it ripped my wall art straight off the wall after a few days and ruined my custom made mirror in my new boutique. Thanks!! never buying again nor do I suggest you buy. Damage free? More like will damage anything you hang on it.

As I'm packing up to move, I went to pull the strips off the wall and it kept pulling off the paint as well as one pulled off part of the sheetrock. Kind of annoyed that im not getting my deposit back from my last apartment due to the holes it left.

I bought two different types in hopes these would work great. Unfortunately they didn’t stick longer than two weeks the first round and days technically the third round. I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol, allowing it to dry and then waiting an additional three hours before handing anything on it. I hung towels that weighed no more than a pound and well they promptly fell off. Very disappointed in the product. They weren’t cheap just for me to have to turn around and throw them away. Super disappointed.
