  • A: If you will gently exhale on the back of the suction cup, it adds a tiny bit of humidity. Then immediately stick it to the window and gently press so you push out the air. That creates the suction.

    I feel like these get bad reviews because the description is a bit misleading for this type of product

    Yes, these absolutely work. Despite the fact that that the description says for ceilings (which assumes materials such as painted drywall) these hooks are NOT for surfaces that are NOT perfectly smooth. These are NOT for drywall, concrete, wood, particle board, etc even if painted. If you have made it work on those surfaces…either it’s black magic or you’re lying lol. Surfaces for suction would be glass, fiberglass, possibly metal, potentially melamine, or say the side of a smooth, untextured fridge.

    These work great.

    Perfect on smooth surfaces. Lift up the hook up all the way, place the suction cup on the surface, bring the hook all the way down. Actually had a hard time pulling it off the glass when needed. I was able to hang jackets and towels with no problems.
