Command strips are a go to for me. As an interior designer, I love the option to try something out on a wall before committing and drilling holes. They have always done a good job.

These products have always worked for the jobs I've needed them for. I purchased 2 packs of these and used about half of the strips in the first box. A week or 2 later, when I went to go use the rest in the box, I peeled the cover off of the command hook side of the strip, and it was not sticky at all. Very disappointed in the shelf life of this product and I feel like I wasted money on these since half of them didn't stick at all.

We have been using 3M Command products since they came out. We have nearly always had excellent results both with stickiness and with removability (you DO have to follow the instructions when removing; pulling out instead of down _will_ damage something). However, TAKE NOTE.; Recently we experienced the "unsticky" problem mentioned in a few reviews. We contacted 3M and they were very helpful in explaining the issue. The adhesive on UNINSTALLED sticky strips has a shelf life. It is about a year. We had bought a box of spare sticky strips to keep on hand and they were over a year old ... and had no stickiness left!! Further, NOTE: The hooks we installed with fresh sticky strips went up and stayed up without a single failure. Also, once the sticky strips are up, they seem to stay up forever. IMHO, the adhesive material takes a set when installed and once whatever chemical reaction takes place, the sticky strip stays put (until removed by carefully following the instructions). So. Make sure your sticky strips are fresh, and install them as per the instructions. I personally use rubbing alcohol to clean any surface I am working with (including the hook) and have had great results. My towel hook has been up for at least eight years and shows no signs of failing. Last month we installed a soap dish in the fiberglass shower and it has been working great. My suggestion to 3M is that they stamp the date of manufacture on the packaging and ensure that retailers rotate stock so that no product "ages out". Finally, note that sticky strips that are not used immediately can be used for other projects. All one needs is a flat, cleanable surface at least as large as the sticky strip (leaving room to pull on the tab) and the object / load cannot exceed the sticky strip rating. I've hung LED lights, signs, a notepad in my car, Lego models, ... well, all kinds of things! Hmm... we're getting a Garvin GPS for our next trip. I wonder ... LOL

Used 6 of them to hold something that was 4 pounds because the bigger command strips were out of stock but it did not work and the item fell and broke.

These worked very well in the past when they were used with a medium hook to hold up empty backpacks. They held up for over three years until my daughters forgot their library books inside their backpacks and both hooks fell off the wall. Figuring they’d work as well as the previous ones, I bought this pack and the empty backpacks have been falling off the wall every single day. I’ve replaced the refills twice for each hook and they continue to fall off every night. The backpacks weigh under 2 pounds so they are below the threshold. Quality has really gone down with what was once a great product. Unfortunately I’ll be returning to get my money back.

Works well on cabinets. Don't use on wall.

I bought a package of the refill strips, and shortly after starting to use them I noticed things falling off the wall. I used 3 on my google mini following the directions to a tee. It is sitting on the counter now not hanging. I took the rest of the package and opened them up and the adhesive no longer had any stickiness on the command side and was only slightly tacky on the wall side. I had never had any problems with the complete sets that I had bought so I was very disappointed when the refills didn't work.

I bought this in bulk a year ago. The first time I used them was shortly after purchasing and they worked great. Fast forward a year, I tried to use them again and all the sticky-ness of them were gone. Had I known they loose their sticky-ness sitting in a box, I would have never purchased in bulk.

This does not work at all. I used it to hang a calendar.... it couldn’t even hold PAPER. it fell off the wall and ruined the pant. Never buying again. Save your money and just install a hook.

Held poster boards on concrete uneven wall.

I used this product long ago but sometimes it worked good, sometimes it was not. I just used it then couple days later I had to replace. It looked like it needed to test for more strength and stability. I hope it would be better so I could use it longer. Thanks

These Command strips are great! I use this brand for everything. The strips are strong and come off easily without damaging walls. I actually purchased the wrong size, I needed large, but they are so strong, the medium size still holds up.

This held my picture frame Great for years! I decided to remove it (to change the pictures) & rearrange the frames. It tore the paint & primer Off of the Wall!!!

I love to hang photos and decor items on the walls in my home. I was looking for the mounting strips which are strong enough to Stick nicely, yet gentle on the walls. 3M-Command party clear mounting strips fitted perfectly into my need.
