They changed the sticks and you cannot clean your ears without them bending. I will not purchase this brand anymore.

Q-tips are the original and the best! The cotton ends are the perfect amount without being too fluffy or thin to hurt your ears or face. I used to help with makeup.
Glad to see I'm not crazy and everyone agrees

Now indistinguishable from generic. Very little cotton and bends at the first hint of pressure.

Shrinkflation!

I'm 64 and have been loyal to this brand for decades, so I'm extremely disappointed that Q-tips have become yet another example of shrinkflation. Their draw used to be that the swabs had more cotton than other brands, and that USED TO BE true. For it to be true now, the other brands must just be stcks b/c there is very little cotton on today's Q-tips. Shame on you, UNILEVER! Is this how you're "Celebrating 100 Years"??

...but that's what I use then for anyway. I grew up using Q-Tips and then years later we hear you're not supposed to use them in your ears. I think as long as you use them responsibly, you're OK. Don't force them in. Don't hit your ear drums. Just use them carefully. In the last year I've gone to an ENT to have my hearing checked. My hearing was 100% and my ears were extremely clean. I use these after every shower. I'm a clean freak. These are a MUST. I can't stand the feeling of water in my ears. Q-Tips are a 5 outta 5. Generics always seem to bend too much and seem cheap and have too much flex. I'm also a gun guy and anytime I need to clean my firearms I keep a handful of these near me to get in the nooks and crannies. When using generic brands the cotton has a tendency to detach from the head. This is one of those things where you need to buy the real thing... kinda like mayonnaise. Haha. Don't go cheap on that kind of stuff. You'll regret it.
Too skinny

Over the years (I'm 73) Q-tips have gotten thinner and thinner. I realize that this was done to use less "cotton" to keep profits up. Why doesn't the company create a thicker (or back to original) product and call it Q-tips Plus. Of course you would need to charge more and I for one would be willing to pay for it.
Bends easily and is too short

This reliable, that has been the same for decades, has changed recently and become unusable. The pipe is so flexible and easily bendable, the q-tip can’t be used for anything. The product is also too short to use effectively. We are returning the unused boxes.

Used qtips for years to remove eye makeup...now I go to wipe under my eye and the qtips just collapse!!!! It does not have "flexibility"...it is simply a weak product now. I will have to find another swab brand. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied.

These are the only cotton swabs that I'll buy. The other brands are too flexible and break easily. These are the ultimate cotton swabs. They used to be a bit thicker, but like every product these days production costs are up so they make slight changes to compensate. They're still my favorite though.
Why did you change my qtips?

These used to be THE BEST qtips. Every other brand paled in comparison. Now they suck and are just like all the rest. I’m so disappointed! Go back to the old way and just increase the price. I’d gladly pay more by these are complete crap now.

qtips missing cotton on ends

I am 61 years of age. I have always used Q-TIPS. However, in my most recent box...I have noticed an inordinate amount of cotton missing on one end of the stick. I'm about half way through the box, and I've run into at least 5 of these. I've heard that during the pandemic and inflation, companies are reducing the amount of their products in the box in order to save money. Is that what you are now doing? Or, was this just one bad batch that I've gotten in 60 years of life?
Not happy with the cheaper product now!

I have used the q-tip brand for years. It was the only brand I bought because I loved the product! The cotton tip was soft and attached very well. The stick part was strong and never bent easily. But your product now has gone down hill in a very noticeable way!! The cotton end is thin and pulls apart easily and the stick part is now a very cheap almost hollow feeling roll of thin cardboard! Why?!?! Why would you take a product many of us buy and use everyday and try and cut corners on the quality of it??? Not good!

I've bought Q-tips my entire adult life because they've always been better than any other swab. The last 2 boxes of 500 I've bought were just terrible. The stick is super flimsy and I've been finding brown things in the cotton. I get it, cotton comes from a plant and we may see remnants of those plants from time to time, but this has been way more than that. I'm just not impressed with the product anymore.
