Not even close to premium anymore
Garbage. I have bought these premium cotton rounds for years. Last time I bought them (Nov 2025) they have changed significantly. They are about half the thickness of what they used to be and the “quilting” is completely different. They either put the basic rounds in the premium package or they are trying to dupe all of us with this change in the product. I know times are “tough” at Target but seriously these are $2.49 cotton pads. Do better Target. I’ve noted that another recent reviewer identified the same problem so hopefully this will get addressed.

Unfortunately the quality has significantly decreased. These are not “premium”. They are extremely thin and scratchy. I do not recommend these for makeup removal, especially for those with sensitive skin. These used to be more plush, I’m disappointed.

Horrible update
way to ruin these target. Why cheapen the product and make it worse when it was perfectly fine before. If you’re going to cut the product in literal half at least cut the price in half aswell. These are complete trash now and should not be labeled as premium! It’s not premium quality.

New Manufacturer is Terrible
I used to buy these because they were AMAZING. They must have changed manufacturers because they are not at all the same as pictured or the same they used to be. They are flimsy and thin now. They feel like really cheap ones, but before they were super thick. They also do not match the picture. I have some of my old ones that do match the photo, so I will provide photos of both.

Terrible Quality in New Design
These went from my go-to cotton rounds to almost impossible to use. These used to be soft, thick, smooth, fluffy, but also sturdy. They have been redesigned with quilting, thinner and lower quality cotton. The quilting pushes through the smooth side and makes it almost impossible to use for nail polish removal. The qulited side pulls easily and leaves cotton pulled out. Super disappointing to see such a downgrade of quality when the price has increased.

I have bought these for years and they’ve always been nice and soft but they changed recently and are really scratchy and terrible for your face. Such a bummer because I used them for toner. Only reccomend if using for nails.
