Q: Are these recyclable and from recycled materials for the paper?

A: Hi LotM – Great question! The plastic flip pack container is made from Polypropylene material and is recyclable in locals that accept plastic recycle code number 5. The swabs would become consumer waste (trash) and not recycled. I hope this information helps. Happy shopping! – Keacia

These used to be my favorite swabs; I bought them for years. Then in summer 2024, they changed the manufacturer (almost certainly to save money). Now they are complete junk. The best part about them was their durability, now they bend with the slightest amount of pressure and are mostly worthless. The photo I took shows an original (on the left) with its sturdy core, and the new one (on the right) with its weak core which bends easily. I will not purchase these anymore, and strongly suggest you find an alternate brand to buy, as these are crap. All of these positive reviews are from the original manufacturer, not this new kind. Bring back the original ones!

Honestly, I bought these cotton swabs mainly for the little plastic case they come in. It's sturdy and reseals well. The swabs are great quality also, but when they run out I'll be refilling this from a bigger package. These would be ideal to carry with you for use on the go or for travel.
